My FIRST & most certainly NOT my last @blackfootwearforum!! 👟🔥

What a weekend!! 🤯 Huge shoutout to @plcdetroit for hosting such an incredible event and bringing together so many talented creatives, designers, entrepreneurs, and sneakerheads from all over the country! 🙌🏽

One thing about PLC Detroit… this is NOT your average college experience. From kicking things off with a Sneaker Ball at Comerica Park (yes, where the Detroit Tigers play ⚾️) to spending the weekend connecting with people who share the same passion for footwear and fashion, the entire experience was something truly special!

As a lifelong sneakerhead, I was definitely checking out everybody’s kicks all weekend. 👀✍🏽 Seeing the different styles, rare pairs, and creativity people brought out each day was a whole experience on its own!

But beyond the sneakers, my favorite part was the PEOPLE.

Being surrounded by so many like-minded Black creatives doing amazing things in their respective fields was genuinely inspiring. And for once, being in a space where we were the majority rather than the minority made it that much more special. 🤎

I met some incredible people, made meaningful connections, and walked away with knowledge and advice that I know will benefit me for years to come.

Extremely grateful for this experience and even more excited about what’s ahead at PLC Detroit!

Until next year, BFF! 🫡
