I’m incredibly grateful to the @nbafoundation , the @detroitpistons and my school @plcdetroit for selecting and awarding us 2026 Detroit tech challenge champions.

As a Detroit native, educator and designer who uses tech (a lot 👨🏽‍💻), being trusted to imagine the experience of the next generation Pistons fan was an awesome opportunity.

Our concept, Pistons Pop Up, came from a simple question: how do we bring the energy of the arena to fans who can’t always get there? We designed free, family-friendly hubs on local Detroit Pistons built courts, with live games on a big screen, local food and vendors, and tech that connects every hub back to the arena.

Special thanks to cohort @arielleearii @a.tizzzle @younofly & @byanymeanscp for seeing it through with me
