When I spoke to your dad, Eddie, on Wednesday I told him all about how you exude an aura of “inclusivity” to those around you; I told him about how you’re a ball of light shining on to others, helping pull them up and instilling a sense of magic to those who might not yet see it in themselves. Your father tilted his head back and laughed with assurance, as if what I said was oh-so-very-typical of the boy he raised and the man he came to know. I later came to understand that this was the consensual understanding amongst all in your life. From Jesse, Will, and Sky, to Scott, George (Osmond), and Christian, everyone I talked to testified the exact same sentiment. They bared their own account along with the most genuine smile of reminiscence.

I know my own experience of this has been abundantly clear. The friends you hold dear have become friends that I hold dear. The love and grace you’ve shared with them you’ve also shared with me, and I cannot be more grateful. I know the kind of love you will bestow upon your wife will be a hidden treasure of the world solely and deservedly able to be experienced by her - if the love that seeps out of you so naturally is anything to go by.

When Charlie brought me to my first Kid at the Corner show and he introduced me to you as his fiancé, I was taken aback. *These guys are so young!* I thought, *there must be something truly special at play here*. And through only a bit of observance I was shortly proven correct.

You are someone who holds so much love, sensitivity, and thoughtfulness towards the world, and the way you display it towards those you hold dear is something so special and truly heart-warming. I know your poetry will decorate your bonded life in the most beautiful way, and I know that you both will feed into each other’s art in a blessed feedback-loop. You yourself are a beautiful source of light, so thank you both for doing the world a service and shining your lights together.

This was the first ever wedding I have ever attended in my life. Thank you both for making your own, my first.
