Join the Ann Arbor Office of Sustainability and Innovations and the Ann Arbor Farmers Market for a guided farmers market tour! Learn about the history, get tips for smart shopping, and connect with local farmers.

On the tour, we'll cover farmers market basics, like where to park, how to get tokens, and how to take advantage of nutrition incentive programs like Double Up Food Bucks and WIC Produce Connections! We'll also meet and speak with the vendors that make our market great. Lastly, attendees will learn strategies for how to talk to vendors, pick ripe produce, save money, and make the most of the food that you buy.

Thank you to all who joined for our A2ZERO Eats! Guided Farm Tour of @dogstarfarm.mi! We had a beautiful afternoon exploring the fields, trying heirloom produce, and learning about edible weeds and dehydrating herbs from farmers Magda & Zach! Participants left with deeper knowledge of what it takes to grow vegetables in Ann Arbor, along with practical skills for eating local, climate-friendly foods.
