@a_carbo and I had such a great time getting to train at @youngsmma while we were on vacation this week.

Thanks so much for letting us work legs with the team - hopefully everyone got something they can add to their game. Can’t wait to come back again taken in Young's MMA by @a_carbo

📣 Congratulations to all our students who competed at ADCC Dallas! 🥋🔥
We’re incredibly proud of your effort, courage, and composure against some of the toughest competition out there. What an amazing experience—win or learn, we grow together! 💪

Adcc Dallas 2025. We had a group of kids going so I decided to sign up Wednesday. My ankle has been hurt so I’ve been training but not 100%. Went 4-2 placing 4th. My first match I hit my favorite entry from slx-reap-outside heel hook. My second was a forfeit sadly. It was going to be against an AOJ kid who has been winning everything. Third match I tried a bolo and he counter well chasing my back. I rolled thru and landed in honeyhole. Trapped his secondary leg in Philly saddle I finished with a toe hold. Fourth match was a leg lock battle where I came out short. You can see my mistake at the end letting him catch my secondary leg from a 5050 ish position and he finished with an ankle lock. 5th match was a honeyhole entry to backside 50. When I first cranked the heel hook I felt a pop so I leg go. Got reset and pulled it again and it really popped. I hope he’s okay. Last match was against a kid I think he was 16. He tried a foot sweep and kicked my leg so hard. I don’t see how those ufc fighters take those. I’m limping lol. He was very scrappy and reminded me of my rolls with @tarzanbjj anyways I got a couple entries to the legs but couldn’t hold on to anything. I tried a false reap entry from rdlr and he jumped over and got a kimura to an arm bar. No ones ever tried that on me so it was nice to learn I’m exposed trying that. Overall I’m really happy with the results taken in Fort Worth, Texas by @a_carbo
