Thank you to everyone at @raposobjjacademy for welcoming RollStrong with open arms. From the first day we stepped onto the mats, you’ve made us feel like part of the team.

We truly appreciate the support, the training, and the opportunity to grow together. From adults and teenagers to RollStrong Kids, and now our first RollStrong baby, our team continues to grow stronger. 🥋👶

Stronger together.

Hard rounds. Competition strategy. World-class preparation.

Every session at the Raposo Master Worlds Camp made one thing clear:

With Raposo beside me and RollStrong behind me…

YOU CAN’T STOP US. 🥋

Jiu Jitsu has a funny way of bringing everything full circle. 🥋

Tarzan was only 15 years old in these photos.

Professor Aaron was in his corner coaching him.
Professor Eric was in the other corner coaching his opponent.
Professor Katherine was the referee.

Different corners. Different roles. Same mats.

Fast forward, and there we all are at Worlds/Cons Camp, no longer in opposing corners, but training together, pushing each other, sharing knowledge, and helping each other get better.

That’s one of the things I love most about Jiu Jitsu. The person across from you today may be the person helping you grow tomorrow.

Competition makes us test ourselves. The community makes us better. 🥋

Masters Camp @raposobjjacademy

Every round, every rep, every lesson adds up.

This is what RollStrong is all about, showing up, pushing each other, and getting better together.

Different ages. Different experience levels. One team. One mindset.

The work doesn’t stop here. 💙🥋

Deep South Nationals day 1 -Avery Edition. Took a tough loss in her first folkstyle match since march. This lit a fire like I haven’t seen in her before. She then tore through the competition on a mission finishing out the rest of the day undefeated. Becoming a freestyle national champion 👑👸🥇and a folkstyle national runner up🥈. We were then able to take a break and get some lunch before moving on to freestyle duals. All in all a great day going 11-1 one the day with 12 matches being the most in one day she has ever had. An adder being she did catch one forfeit at the end of the day which would have been 13 matches. Now we get some rest and move on to day two which thankfully doesn’t start until the next afternoon. Bonus info being her dual team was completely decked out as Charlie and the chocolate factory with the 2 coaches dressed up as Willy Wonka and one big Oompa Loompa. They all wore singlets styled accordingly which they loved and then, they were paraded through the arena to the Oompa Loompa songs and marched out to the mats in style….. lol great day over all lots of fun and friendship @brtc_wrstle @apexwrestlingclubla @cat5wrestling #girlrillas #girlswhowrestle🤼‍♀️

The journey continues , He still prefers jiujitsu but finally stepped out of his comfort zone competing in wrestling this year and found his love for it. Unfortunately his gym @apexwrestlingclubla went from 30 kids to 4 kids essentially over night but the vision stayed the same. Get better and make it happen. @guascension/ @apexwrestlingclubla is the only gym in the state that offers year round youth competition jiujitsu/wrestling programs. We will continue to grow the gym and give everyone the tools needed to succeed . Rather it’s 4 kids or 40, we pour endless effort into each kid to see the best version of themselves! Shout out to @a_carbo who’s been there for him since day one last year helping jaiden fall in love wrestling , something I could never get him to do lol.
