I’m a bit of an oxymoron: I own @powerprincessparty 👑 and work to empower children through creativity🎶 🧸, while my other creative work leans toward darker themes.

My acting and writing live at the intersection of musical theatre 🎶, character-driven comedy 🎭, advocacy 📣, and justice ⚖️. Over time, I’ve come to see how powerful stories can be in shaping representation, empathy, and meaningful change. ✨
I’m also a child advocate who works through a trauma-informed lens, focused on how policy, deep-rooted stigma, and structural barriers impact children and families. 🤍🏛️

Epilepsy and medication safety are a central part of this page and my lived experience. In 2022, I survived a life-altering accident caused by medication toxicity — tied to issues around generic drug manufacturing and medical neglect. That experience reshaped how I navigate healthcare — and why I speak openly about patient voice, safety, and navigating complex systems 🩺. I share more context in pinned reels.

I recorded this a few months ago, before I received my temporary teeth. I had sort of metal in my mouth & a big part of my upper lip was still missing… Every time I sang it hurt so bad, but I had to prove to myself I could get through it.

I share my story not to be an alarmist, or for self-pity: but only to bring awareness. Truthfully, this is the most difficult thing I’ve shared, & it feels self-serving since singing it was so therapeutic. Kinda taking the easy way out—even though it is still physically painful to sing, nor does it sound so good ha. It’s symbolic & much easier for me to express myself this way.

Over these past several months, I’ve learned these accidents are becoming more common among people who regularly take certain types of medication. In my next video I’m going to share facts as to why that is & how you can prevent it from happening—while still taking a medication that works for your body.

Until then please advocate for yourself, & try to be kind. You really never know what anyone’s going through.

Happy International Day of the Girl! 💜That little girl is me. Little Meredith was happy to have grown up in a home where traditional gender roles were challenged, civil rights mattered, and feminism wasn’t just something we talked about, it was something we lived.
✨
My mom might tell you my dad is a bit of a workaholic, but equality was never up for debate in our house. my sister was phone banking for an election at 7 years old.🤣 Even our family dog was a fierce little girl. 💪🐾

But stepping outside the walls of our home, was a different experience for me. The world often didn't reflect the equality, empowerment, and sense of belonging I had been taught to believe in. School, and eventually the workplace and relationships, could feel incredibly isolating.

That's something that has been hard to shake, especially now as we witness the regression of hard-won rights, the increasing hypersexualization of girls, and the renewed glorification of patriarchy, I find myself thinking about that little girl, and all the little girls growing up in this world today.

What are we teaching them? What are we showing them? And perhaps most importantly, what are we doing to protect them?

Girls deserve more than encouragement to dream big. They deserve a world that doesn’t punish them for doing so. ✨They deserve to feel safe, to take up space, to question authority, to challenge injustice, and to know that their voices matter.

I hope today, and every day, we make a conscious effort to protect the girls in our lives--not by teaching them to be smaller or quieter, but by giving them the love, tools, opportunities, and confidence to become exactly who they want to be.

Teach them that they are capable. Remind them that they are deserving. Show them that their bodies belong to them, and their dreams are worth fighting for.
And perhaps most importantly, let them see us fighting for those things, too.

Here’s to Little Meredith, to the little girls we once were, and to every girl who deserves to grow up knowing she is worthy of equality, dignity, opportunity, and love.

Protect girls. Believe girls. Empower girls. Today and every day. 💜

You guys, guess who is running another marathon?! 🏃‍♀️🗽No, not me. I’m one & done! 😘😂

My lovely friend @helikatrina2 is running the 2026 NYC Marathon, and I’m so excited to cheer her on as she raises money for The Brave House. 💕

There’s a little full-circle magic to this one, too. The marathon falls on November 1st, my birthday! 🎂 I ran the NYC Marathon on November 1st back in 2009. About two years later, Heli and I met, and I’ve been lucky enough to spend many birthdays with her since. Now, 17 years later, I get to spend another November 1st cheering her on as she takes on all 26.2 miles through the five boroughs. 🗽
Most importantly, she’s running for an incredible cause. 🤍

The Brave House is a Brooklyn nonprofit supporting young immigrant women ages 16–24, many of whom are seeking safety in the U.S. after experiencing gender-based violence. They provide free legal support, mentorship, help with education, health insurance and immigration needs, along with community events and a place to build friendships and belong.

They support more than 500 young people each year from over 40 countries, helping immigrant girls and young women thrive, lead and belong.

If you’re able, please consider supporting Heli’s fundraiser. 💕 Every donation helps support this incredible community and the work they do.

4 years ago they said they couldn’t fix her smile. Just saying. 😉
Today, I can sing, dance, cry laugh, smile, and clearly make several different facial expressions. ♥️
Exactly four years ago, around this time, my life changed forever. I’m still learning how to navigate life post-accident, but today I’m especially grateful for every single person who has continued to support me along the way.
The last two photos are from Fall 2022 with 2 of my favorite little nurses. 🤍 And don’t worry, I spared you the gory pics. 😬🩸
