🇬🇧 Aaaaand finally… I gave in! Thanks to @lecollectionheure for the great find. A 1997 Rolex Datejust 16234 — 36mm, fluted bezel, white dial with Roman numerals, sapphire crystal, Jubilee bracelet. To my eyes, it was the perfect configuration. Comfort, robustness, and elegance! 🇫🇷 Eeeeet finalement… J’ai succombé ! Merci @lecollectionheure pour la trouvaille. Rolex Datejust 16234 de 1997, 36mm, lunette cannelée, cadran blanc,chiffres romains, verre saphir, bracelet jubilee. C’était la configuration parfaite à mes yeux. 🇬🇧 A new addition to the collection… Small diameter, small budget, but such a great discovery! Meet this vintage 32mm Lorus Quartz. Despite its compact size, I think it’s a real eye-catcher. Sure, it’s quartz, but with those looks and colours… it’s hard to resist. A proper little piece of wrist candy! 🍬⌚️ 🇫🇷 Une nouvelle arrivée dans la collection… Petit diamètre, petit budget, mais une très belle découverte ! Voici donc une Lorus Quartz vintage de 32 mm. Malgré ses dimensions contenues, je trouve qu’elle attire immédiatement le regard. Certes, c’est du quartz, mais avec ce look et ces couleurs… difficile de résister. I’ve only heard great things about this brand (especially the Bambino), despite its ridiculously low price… I went for a 1980s model, featuring a brushed guilloché pattern, a vintage logo, and gold-toned indices. I added a green nubuck strap to give it a little pop, and off we go! 🇫🇷 Ma première Orient ! Je n’ai entendu que des éloges sur cette marque (notamment la Bambino) et ce malgré un prix ridiculement bas… J’ai opté pour un modèle des années 1980, guillochage brossé en rangées, logo vintage et indexes dorés. 🇬🇧 I’ve always been fascinated by watches with out-of-the-ordinary complications… This Longines, named after its designer (the aviator Charles Lindbergh), makes it possible to find your position on the globe by determining your geographical coordinates! To be honest, I’ve never managed to work the rotating discs to actually do it, but… it sure looks great no matter what 😁 🇫🇷 J’ai toujours été fasciné par les montres qui avaient des complications hors du commun… Cette Longines, qui porte le nom de son concepteur (l’aviateur Charles Lindbergh), permet de se repérer sur la surface du globe en déterminan ses coordonnées géographiques !
