Rolex Explorer 1 224270

With its extremely legible deep black 3 6 9 dial and time only complication this is simplicity at its finest. This watch always brings a smile to my face when I wear it as I know my Mrs has the 36mm 124270 in her collection.

Some would argue that this watch wears a bit oversized for me at 40mm but I prefer the larger dial for legibility reasons plus it’s technically a “sports watch” 😅

Tudor Black Bay Pro OG on @yorkshirewatchstraps INTEGRA FKM Rubber Strap

Loving this rubber strap on my BBPro. The way it makes use of the original end links gives it an integrated look similar to a Rolex Oyster Flex Daytona where there are no lug gaps. Looks clean and tidy and it’s as if the watch came like this directly from Tudor.

I intentionally inverted the strap to have the keepers and the excess on the inside of the wrist similar to how some Seiko watches with leather straps come out of the box. I believe this makes the watch look more aesthetically pleasing when looking straight at it from a full body view.

The BBPro OG is another strap monster in my collection and I will always choose this over the new Tudor North Flag.

Pulled up to the Yacht Club with a Submariner on and was denied entry…they said I need a Yacht Master…and also I need a yacht 😂😂😂

In all seriousness I’m considering adding a Yacht Master 40mm blue dial to the collection at some point. Not in a rush to do so as I want to get a Pink OP 36mm for my Mrs and a Sprite GMT Master 2 on a Jubilee first.

Desert Pirate Ft Casio G Shock 5610u on Desert Camo Nylon Strap by @davilane_straps with the pirate patch 🏴‍☠️

This trusty G Shock looks great on this strap and wears even more comfortable than the original resin band. It gives off tactical military vibes and the pirate strap gives it some flair with the pop red that matches the red line on the screen.

Quick Wrist Roll ft Rolex Explorer 1 40mm 224270

There’s something about the simplicity of this watch that keeps me coming back to it. A simple but very legible no date dial with the 3 6 9 markers makes reading the time at a glance so easy. It’s truly a GADA watch (go anywhere do anything) that can be worn with any outfit and will suit any situation. This one is a keeper.
