I’m missing many people and moments over the summer that make me appreciate the life I have. Sometimes the stress of day to day seems to be too much, but stuff like this replenishes my soul and makes everything worth it. The Lord, Lener, Family, Friends, Bikes, Trucks, etc… remember the things that fufill your life (whatever it is) before they pass you up!

Started off the race season with a 3rd place @robidouxrendezvous this weekend. It was a subtle reminder that whispered to me like a wise old man “still got it kid, keep putting in the work.” I feel like a switch has flipped over the past few months that reignited my desire to really start pushing myself again, to find that dawg in me if you will for the fancier folk. I never want to sell myself short of cycling and other goals, and getting back into consistent training has allowed me to minimize that. I guess to whomever is reading this and whatever this can apply to I hope you do the same, don’t sell yourself short. We can keep each other accountable! You still got it kid, keep putting in the work.

What a weekend @robidouxrendezvous

Took me long enough from our very first interaction, but 2 years ago I asked the layer arounder to my zoomer arounder to be my girlfriend(Old Lady). I thank the lord every day for sending her into my life, the relationship we have cultivated is the only thing you will hear me openly admit I’m proud of myself for. Any one that knows our relationship can attest that she brings certainty and unconditional love. I have a hard time believing I’m someone that’s easy to be with and love, but she shows up every day with a smile on her face and the patience of a saint. Another year @bigskybiggie down. I like to think I’m starting to become an old vet of this race lol, and yell at all the youngins to pace themselves or you’ll blow up on them damn Yellow Mules climbs🤣. The matter of fact though is this was my fastest biggie I have ever done but I seemed to move back a few positions to 9th, indicating the talent for this race is really stepping up and I’m so stoked to see one of my favorite races grow. I’m proud with the day and was excited to rep my new @dnacycling cycling kit for the first time. I love everything about it and the sponsors I carry on my back. It makes me feel like I’m on a hunt with my best buds, and that’s what it’s all about🤘. Let’s see if next year we can finally get that coveted podium. Take care folks

Butte America’s Race in the mountains…
-104.95 miles
-17,000 feet of elevation gain
-90% single track

3rd year of doing this to myself (nobody said I was the smartest fella) and won’t stop until I reach top step. Nothing short of the hardest event of the year, but boy does it make you feel like one tough bastard if you can grit through the day and have some fun on the awesome descents. 6th place definitely isn’t what I was looking for, but then again I don’t think I was looking for placement. I wanted to add something to myself that is undeniably hard and something I can think back on when times get tough. Not even just cycling, anything really. “Yah know what, this thing is hard, but remember that one time you busted your ass for 11 1/2 hours straight. You got this.” I think a mindset like this can only be achieved by doing hard stuff and the more these things stack up the more results will come. I’d really love to win this race one day, the more hard stuff I stack, maybe it’ll come true! Till then, I’ll be proud of the effort I put in and so thankful for my sponsors, family, friends, God, and girl friend for showing up for me when it counts❤️

- @anacondabicycles put a lot of time into making my Giant Anthem race ready…. So much so it literally ran flawless throughout the entire race, not a single nothing.

Tried, True, and Battle Tested

@anacondabicycles really dialed the Giant Revolt in for the @tusharcrusher . 10,000 feet of hot, nasty, gnarly climbing and the old girl didn’t skip a beat. I’m really enjoying this larger tire set up. Always loved me a bubba truck and definitely a bubba bike🌾! Another post is in order for the actual race itself but the old girl deserved one all by herself😍 by @a_sorich_5

24 hours of Riverside (5 man team) 🥇
I was looking forward to this race all winter! No it’s not the most prestigious race(all though it would be pretty cool to make it one) but it’s a real kick in the pants! It for real feels like a 24 hour straight bender with 4 of your best friends(I dont drink and never will but the delirium you get from rippin all night most certainly makes you feel like you just hit it hard all night😂). It was so much fun and it just feels so cool to ride with people that you look up too and literally taught you the art of racing a mountain bike. I’m also very proud of our youngest teammate (only in 8th grade) Sampson for holding down the fort, very proud of him crushing his first endurance race and definitely grew a couple hairs on his chest after that one. Felt good to go hard and have a sick ass mustache while doing it🫡, thanks for reading y’all keep it fast.

First two days of @mtcx___ Montana Gravel Challenge have been tight! Just haulin ass wit my bro… and of course mud lol. 9th in both the TT and the Gravel day.

The @anacondabicycles crew rolled into Spokane for Hubapalooza Enduro last weekend! This is way out of my wheelhouse of normal racing, but I’ve always seemed to like the DH a little more than your normal XC kid. So it was pretty easy for @mattj16 to convince me to push myself in a different aspect of the sport! We were pretty shocked at the technicality of the first stage and some of the features(Vertical Cockeyed slabs and awkward approaches into chutes), but as always Matt helped me navigate it and showed me that I have a lot more in me and that I just need to grow a pair. Come race day we crushed the first stage and after that it was nothing but hoots and hollers, @emsmada and I completed our first Enduro. Matt whipped my ass of course, and the rest of the crew did absolutely fantastic! I can’t thank @anacondabicycles enough for always being there and creating new two wheeled passions, it’s safe to say these will be put into the future calendar!
