@manfredthierrymugler may you be among the Angels forever. I was gifted this fabulous Mugler tuxedo (in black satin cuir) as a Christmas present by the most generous and wonderful Fameed Khalique @famkhalique - in 1994, if I remember correctly. We went to @jacques_azagury for a fitting. As it happens, it was perfect... This is me wearing it at a black tie function that same year. I wore it often and have always taken good care of this wonderful garment. Recently, my friend Tilal @tilalimani borrowed it for a photoshoot by @jeanfrancoiscarly - some 27 years later! It has the signature waist-to-hip sculptural design which is unfortunately not visible in these photos... Each year I promise myself to fit back into it for NYE but my waist/hip ratio is not what it used to be. Ha! I’ll be making an extra effort now. It will always have pride of place in my wardrobe. Merci Mugler! 💎🕊
