I just got back from the launch of Supermodel Snacks by @daphnevelghe, hosted at the beautiful @essentielantwerp store in Antwerp. It turned out to be such a charming and genuinely warm encounter. Daphne was every bit as friendly and engaging as she comes across and clearly just as passionate about food as she is about fashion.
Published by @borgerhofflamberigts, Supermodel Snacks is a fun and stylish collection of recipes that goes well beyond the usual idea of “healthy meals”. It is really about food that is fresh, easy, full of flavour and, above all, enjoyable. And yes Daphne can definitely cook. She already proved that during her time on Celebrity Master Chef Vlaanderen on @goplay.be where she went on to win the competition. Fashion, food and a lovely encounter, a pretty great combination.
Supermodel Snacks has already earned a place in my kitchen and I hope it will find a place in many of your kitchens too.

Gisteren heeft mijn grote broer ons veel te vroeg verlaten. De regie van zijn leven hield hij, geheel in lijn met de rest van zijn leven, tot het eind in eigen handen. Hij vroeg ons om zijn heengaan ook langs deze weg met jullie te delen en iedereen te bedanken voor alle mooie momenten, de vriendschap en de warmte.

Voor mij blijft hij altijd mijn grote broer. We gaan hem veel te hard missen maar we dragen hem mee in alles wat we samen hebben beleefd en we zien hem verder leven in zijn 2 prachtige dochters.
