Good times at our @aapisinsync Summer Mixer 💛 Thank you to all those who came out to be in community with each other. Always leave these mixers feeling inspired and thankful for each of you for your continuous work and impact in the entertainment industry while elevating our AAPI community in the process 💛 And thanks to the OGs who came out to hang; your presence and support means so much 🙏🏾 by @aapisinsync

Energized from our first “AAPIs in Sync Mixer”! Our goal was to gather as many AAPIs who work in Music Supervision, Sync, and everything in between. The work we do is rewarding, but it can also be very difficult, which is why we wanted to organize ourselves to best support one another and build community, while also celebrating each other’s projects. And perhaps in organizing ourselves, we can hopefully open up more opportunities for AAPI artists to get their music placed in Film, TV, Video Games, and Ads. Thank you to everyone that came out to the mixer! We’re inspired by each of you. We’re especially grateful to those of you who have been doing this work for decades - please know that your trailblazing work has paved the way for our communities to thrive and dream big. And thanks to those who couldn’t attend but shared their energy and support from afar. We will definitely host another one soon! When we started this effort, we were hoping we could identify 20-30 professionals in Sync. We’re ecstatic and encouraged that our list is almost 90 people and growing! WE. OUT. HERE! Let’s celebrate our community who are representing and doing the damn thing at all these companies! Disney, Paramount, Sony, Universal, Warner Bros., Netflix, Warner/Chappell, Sony Music, CBS, Viacom Music, NBCUniversal, Inc., Format Entertainment, Fox Networks, NFL Media, Apple TV, SM Entertainment, Republic Records, Rhino Entertainment, BMG, AWAL, Trailer Park Group, Little Spark Music, Downtown Music Services, Aspect, Good Ear Music Supervision, Nettwerk Music, Audio Network, SoundSync Music, Bank Robber, Beggars Group, Greater Goods, Primary Wave Music, Red Bull Records, The Wilders, Blue Buddha Entertainment, Koze Music Publishing, Rogue Planet, Safari Riot, Score-A-Score, Eternal Music Group, Syncronic Sound, Wild Card Creative Group, What Up Pitches, ATG Group, Brand X Music, Madden Flow Entertainment, Chi On Thi5, Create Advertising Group, and more! by @aapisinsync
