AAPI PANELIST SPOTLIGHT 🌟 BRITTANY DOUZIECH🌟 The daughter of immigrants, Brittany Douziech is a first-gen music supervisor from Los Angeles. Her diverse family and community introduced her to a variety of music, which helped cultivate her expansive musical palate. She began her career at FUEL TV, putting together creative music ideas and assisting on shows that featured weekly musical guests from Bad Religion to the likes of Chromeo and Public Enemy. She eventually became the in-house Music Supervisor for one of the largest independent TV production companies working across shows for major cable and TV networks for almost a decade before venturing out on her own. In 2022, she had projects that premiered at various festivals including Tribeca, AFI Film Fest, Blackstar, DocNYC and Doc N Roll and a feature film, "The Long Game" that won the audience narrative award at SXSW. In addition to individually supervising documentaries, scripted film and TV, Brittany often works alongside veteran music supervisors Joe Rudge and Emmy-nominated music supervisor Frankie Pine, and has contributed to a variety of TV projects including Amazon’s A League of Their Own, Netflix’s From Scratch, Hulu’s Life & Beth, and Amazon’s Daisy Jones & the Six, which was Emmy-nominated for Outstanding Music Supervision. Learn more about her journey in the entertainment industry at our AAPI Panel on 5.22.25 💫 <link in bio> #aapi #aapiheritagemonth #aapimonth #aapicommunity #aapipanel #aapivoices #conversations #mentors #musicindustry #musiceducation #musicsupervision #musiclicensing #bluebuddhaent

Celebrating Filipino Heritage Month 🇵🇭 We're taking the time to appreciate the music industry's rich diversity. Every Friday, we're highlighting talented individuals of Filipino heritage who have made their mark in the music world. Meet Dom Brady, a music producer and mix engineer who embodies the saying "It's never too late to start chasing your dream." Dom Brady, also known as Dominic Agatep, is a Hip-hop/RnB record producer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He began his musical journey with the hip hop band Urban Icons but took a long hiatus to focus on his career and family. In 2019, Dom faced a challenging time when his eldest daughter underwent brain surgery and cancer treatment. To pass the time during long hospital stays, he turned to making music on his laptop, eventually finding solace in creating music as a form of escape and a way to cope with his depression. In 2020, Dom reconnected with artists he had previously worked with, sparking his creativity and leading to the release of many records. He has also worked with notable artists such as Westcoast Stone, Twista, Bootsy Collins, One Vo1ce, and NBA 2K24 video game. Dom's sound is a fusion of classic West Coast/G-funk bounce with modern instruments and vocals. His sonic influences range from J Dilla, DJ Battlecat, DJ Quik, Prince, and the Neptunes. @dom_brady1 is also one of our cohorts in our BB Sync & Songwriting Masterclass, and we are thrilled to be part of his journey 💫 Join us in celebrating his creativity, innovation and passion for music. Who are your favorite Filipino composers and producers? 🎶 #FilipinoHeritageMonth #dombrady #Music #Composers #Producers #Philippines #aapi #musicindustry #musiccomposer
