Kirkus also said "Lurid tweaks aplenty." Possibly the best line in any review of my work ever. Proud!

Get SHOCK CITY PUNKS wherever authority's being defied!

Today is the perfect day to get my new all-ages HORROR comic, SHOCK CITY! It's about a happy little Frankensteinish kid who teams up with an anxious human kid to fix all the damage her grandpa inflicted on their town. 230 pages of Halloweeny shrieking!

I picked up a fun children’s horror book at @tucsoncomiccon yesterday: IT’S NOT SCARY! by Aaron Alexovich.

Meet Sunny Von Shock, a happy little monster kid living in a colossal castle filled with menacing creatures and nightmarish experiments. When neighborhood kid Milo is dared to ring her doorbell, Sunny is thrilled to finally have someone to show all her wonderfully horrible stuff to!

But will Milo think it’s as awesome as she does?

🖤 I love the idea of introducing kids to horror in a fun, playful way. Building the next generation of horror fans starts somewhere!

NEXT WEEKEND (Sept. 4-6): I’ll be at @tucsoncomiccon I’ll have the 25th anniversary ZIM print (last chance?), heaps of ZIM comics, and all three SHOCK CITY books. (And yep, for anyone paying attention, we will be bringing stop-motion Sunny.) Come say hello!

I’ll also have a drawing in the con’s charity auction this year: DIB COVERED IN BEANS, an original production sketch from olden ZIM times. (All proceeds go to Youth On Their Own and the Southern Arizona Foodbank.)

#tucsoncomiccon #invaderzim ANNOUNCEMENT: I’ll be at Tucson Comic-Con September 4-6 at the Tucson Convention Center, table AA 78. A bunch of ZIM characters are exploding out toward us in what I assume is joy at the annunciation. by @aaronalexovich

DID YOU KNOW: Our new stop-motion star Sunny Von Shock is already in three dang books? You can get them all if you yell at your favorite bookseller loud enough! (Or just whisper gently, that's probably better.)
