AAS/ STOOLS - 9/26-12/5/2026 An exhibition curated by @a83_inst, @barkowleibinger, and @pinupmagazine STOOLS brings together 44 stools by Berlin- and New York-based architects and designers. Ubiquitous throughout a designer’s career, the stool’s modest scale, material range, and fluctuating utility make it a revealing design problem. Around a large table on Grand Street, provocations from both cities engage ideas shaping design now. STOOLS is a sequel to Hocker, curated by @barkowleibinger in Berlin in 2025. AAS:Marbledworks:Ouverture — marble objects developed for Marbledworks presented at Ouverture opening Monday 7 September, 6–9 pm OUVERTURE Studio Bergstraße 22, 10115 Berlin part of @currents.berlin A selection of marble furniture and spatial objects, developed through the ongoing collaboration with Marbledworks. The works form part of the studio’s spatial objects series, exploring how individual pieces can organise space and evolve into larger compositions. The presentation also marks the launch of the Baton wardrobe, a modular sculptural piece combining polished stainless steel, oak, and solid marble. about Gonzalez Haase AAS is a Berlin-based architecture and design studio founded by Judith Haase and Pierre Jorge Gonzalez, working across architecture, interiors, and object design with a material-driven approach. Marbledworks specialises in the fabrication and creative reuse of marble and natural stone, transforming offcuts and leftover fragments into functional pieces in collaboration with designers and architects.
