River Arts District recently. Some debris have become symbols that remind those who pass by of the destruction that passed through. Grass and other flora has taken over many areas. My memory of what used to be in some spots has begun to fade.

Back to shooting medium format with some regularity since I got a 65mm lens for my RB67. taken in Asheville, North Carolina by @aaward__

A surreal hike through Roan Mountain covered in fog. Normally people come largely for the vast views of the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee.

Semana Santa, Valladolid, ES, 2025.

Everything about Semana Santa in Spain feels very special. It is well known in Spain, but Semana Santa in Valladolid stands out because the national sculpture museum is in the city. It is extraordinary to see the immensely heavy works of art carried through the streets.

Spruce Pine still eagerly waits for another grocery store to be built a year and a half after hurricane Helene. The Ingles grocery store still sits with the sign outside frozen in time to when the storm flooded it.

Grass is growing back where the park used to be.

March 2026.

More and more I have appreciated having a small camera with me, especially when traveling.
