Liquified, my very own collection of poetry and photography, is here ·༻𐫱༺·

She is
A window to the sea
Through poetry and photography
A window into me
My perception
A world of deep feeling and imagery
Of animistic living
Talking to rocks and listening to the wind
Submerging in the subtleties
That hold profundity

May these intimate pieces of me,
Raw poetry from the last year
And meaningful captures from the last four years
Find gentle hearts and curious minds

I write for myself
Because it’s how I make sense of life
Of my experiences
And I created Liquified because arranging things, beautifully
Also brings me understanding
Joy and creative energy
I decided to share this collection publicly
Because while these words came from my hands
and heart
They feel like they belong to more than just me
And I’d be happy if they made just one other person feel seen
Or think more deeply about the magic that weaves
Through everything

xx

One of my favorite parts of silversmithing is helping others bring their visions to life! It brings me to much joy and fulfillment to guide people in the process of birthing a creative idea into the physical.

The most asked question I’ve received over the years in workshops and from customers is by far:

How did you get started silversmithing?

I am self taught through trial and error and with the help of my friend @emmygorbergart.

Looking back, the scariest part the learning process was making the jump and investing in tools and materials. I remember feeling stuck in decision paralysis. Unsure if I was buying the right tools, if I was overpaying, and questioning what tools were actually necessary.

Fast forward 3 years and many creations later - I feel confident in my process and want to share what I’ve learned with you all - to hopefully save you time and money if you’re wanting to get into silversmithing.

Sooo I’ve made 2 separate guides:

🌀Tools for Silversmithing
🌀Metals and Materials for Silversmithing

My intention with these is to make the starting process a bit less daunting for all of you curious and creative minds!

In each pdf, I’ve broken things down into digestible sections and added links to tools as well as guides and links to purchasing metal.

Each item on the tools list has been purchased or tested by me, so you can ensure that you’ll get good quality for the best price.

Each of these documents are available for a one time purchase of $6 on my Patreon, linked in my bio 🩵

I’ve learned so much about myself through silversmithing and there is something so meditative and magical about working with fire, metal, and stones in this way. It feels like my way of honoring the elements and the stones I work with and I couldn’t be more grateful for all I’ve learned so far. Excited to share this with you all ⚒️❤️‍🔥

A weekend collecting and connecting 🌀🦦

Much of my intention for this time in California was to collect pieces of information to take back to Australia with me - largely relating to themes of home and belonging.

How do I feel being on these lands again?
Is this somewhere I want to return to?
What is next for me?

The last few months in Australia were clouded by a general murky-ness and feelings of discomfort in the midst of thick foggy mystery of what was yet to come.

Returning to familiar lands after a year away, I was curious to see how this time would be after meeting new layers of myself. Feeling so met in the depth of my connections in Australia and wondering if the magic I’ve found there is limited to a location. Week after week being here I’m sweetly surprised by the easeful flow of magic that swirls at my feet. Feeling inspired, seen, and held by community old and new. I’ve found myself entering worlds, so aligned and familiar, for the first time, after living here over 5 years previously. Unlocked, it seems, through my own self discovery and inquiry that has initiated me over the last year.

For now I am cherishing these moments of revealing clarity and remaining open to the unknown. Listening to the subtleties in my body and taking note of my energy that feels light and at ease.

Grateful to each of you for bearing witness to and supporting me along my spiraling journey 🩵
