He’s faithful in every season ❤️‍🩹

i’ve held off for some weeks on sharing this. it took some time to grieve the year and season I had pictured for myself and worked for, and find the words to even express what this means for me.

it’s been a blessing to play this game for more than 20 years and not experience much more than a muscle strain or sprained ankle. i’ve spent so much time fearing injury, surgery, a long recovery period, always thinking that if it were to ever happen to me it would be too much to come back from and i’d just have to be done playing. i’m thankful that now that i’m experiencing it, even if it’s obviously not what i hoped for, i know i have a chance to learn and grow in ways that will make me a better person and athlete. this came only at a time God knew I wouldn’t see it as a reason to give up. i’m so thankful for the village i have around me and the support and love they’ve given me. i’m no stranger to having to wait for things to fall into place. we on the road to recovery, coming back to lock 👱🏼‍♀️ up, iykyk by @abbbyyyyyo
