Abbey chose the Blue concept in my Rainbow Photoshoot Roulette — an Andy Warhol/Picasso inspired makeup set with a bit of a mannequin twist. A pantyhose was put over Abbey’s face to add to the uncanny and abstractness. I definitely wanted the editing to feel like blown out film and I think I got it down. We were laughing the whole time because it’s also giving Gladys from Weapons 😂

“Macbitches” by Sophie McIntosh
July 24-August 15 at convergence-continuum, dir. Kate Smith

This show is brilliant through and through. It’s about ambition, power, vulnerability, performance, gender and misogyny without a man ever entering the room. So grateful to create such an insane and meaningful piece of art with these incredible women. One more weekend to join us in our shitty little college apartment. The cast list is waiting to be posted…….

We were never meant to fit quietly into history.
We were meant to become folklore.
The ones they whisper about. The ones painted into old manuscripts. The warriors who walked through the mist dressed in white, carrying steel instead of fear. There is still magic left in this world. Sometimes... it looks like women refusing to be ordinary.

This is for the women who refuse to shrink. Who protect what they love. Who carry softness in one hand and strength in the other.
The old stories never died. They simply found new women to tell them. You are the knight. The queen. The witch. The guardian of forgotten forests. For one evening, you don't have to imagine that life. You get to live it.

⚔️ Every session is an invitation to step into another world. DM to plan your folklore fairytale today! ✨️
