@nan_ciee @forgedstrengthllc and I have been cooking up some things for my trip to Scotland later this year to pick the historic Dinnie Stones(733#) and I am just even more excited now!

Just wanted to take a minute and (re)introduce myself.
.
Hey! My name is Ally Abbs and I'm a professional international StrongWoman. I also compete in highland games, stonelifting, and still dabble in powerlifting. I'm really all about the world of strength. And I love sharing that with everyone! Our bodies are capable of so many cool things in many different ways, and I always want to be a person that helps empower those around me as an athlete and as a coach. Strength is for ALL!
.
I've had the opportunity to accomplish some really great things as of late, like becoming the 8th woman in the world to pick up the Husafell Stone in Iceland. I can't thank the women before me, who have paved the way, enough for doing so.
.
Anyways, if you see me around, come say hey! I'm not as scary as I look sometimes, I PROMISE! If you've seen me compete to train some heavy lifts, you know!
.
Thanks to all of you who continue to support this crazy journey. You really make it 💜
.
Stay tuned, I've got some some big things in the works and announcements happening soon 😁

8th woman in the world to lift the 186kg/410lb Husafell stone. It was such an experience to drive out to the sheep's pen and take in the countryside. Walking up to it, I felt an intense amount of energy. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to travel to Iceland and do something I've only dreamed of.
.
Thank you @jonasdottir_iceland_strength and @amarnadottir for taking the trip with me. Thank you Coach @nan_ciee for being there through video call and all the endless stone sessions we've had over the past months.
.
It is truly amazing what the human body is capable of. I was able to break it off the ground a few times, amlóði or lazy bones status , but that wasn't enough. I wanted it in my lap. I said one more try, and I better get it! I achieved halfsterkur(half strong) status by pulling it into my lap and standing it at waist height. As soon as it was in my lap, I was over the moon. Feeling the weight of the stone and my body supporting it. She a hefty one.
.
By far one of the coolest things I've ever done and probably will ever do. I love this little life of mine 💜

There's something so satisfying about being in the middle of the mountains, hanging with my strong frands, and yeeting things into oblivion. Just feeds the soul 🤘🏼

Finallllyyyy got my hands on one of these shields and it DID NOT disappoint. Very big, very awkward, much like me 😝 I liked the hand placement and being able to pop it on top of my speed bumps and lock it in there.

✨TAKE UP SPACE ✨
It's more than just some words to me. It's a reminder to myself everyday to show up and be unapologetically me. For a girl that was bullied and told to shrink herself in every possible way(not just body size). For the woman that still deals with imposter syndrome and wondering if I belong on the "stages" I've been on. A reminder that I DO belong. That I can literally do whatever I set my mind to. That I can show other women it's okay to be themselves too. To be strong, to be loud, to stray from the norm, to simply exist authentically. I spent too many years wondering "what if" and didn't act on my dreams due to my own mental battles.
.
The past two weekends have been extremely overwhelming. From competing in both stones AND highland games in the same day. 14 events. But that was a goal of mine. And I was crazy enough to do it. To flying to the UK a few days later to compete in a country I had never even visited. With absolutely incredible humans at both events. I'm grateful to be able to show up as me. I'm grateful to do what I love. I'm grateful to take up space.

@globalstrongwoman 2026 Summit of Strength.
.
Got a call less than two weeks out asking if I'd join and you know I like to FAFO. So I flew across the pond and had a freaking blast! My first time in the UK and fulfilling a dream to compete here. Real class act put on by the ENTIRE crew and athletes. I ended up tied for 5th with the amazing @chloebrennanx .
.
The best part about it was the promoters fight for women to have the same opportunity, the same equipment, same prize money, and same treatment as the men. And it was executed phenomenally. @globalstrongman @unbreakable_promotions
I don't think I've ever had a smoother comp day from a logistics side of things. You were there for US and made us feel like real humans. And that goes a LONG way in my book. Thank you to @sanctus_performance_clinic for the IV and body works before comp as well. It did wonders!
.
Thank you so so much for the opportunity to do what I love on another international stage 💜 I can't wait to see what next year holds for Global Strongman 🔥

5th and final event from @arizonasstrongestman , STONES!
I was looking for a smooth and clean run here. I just had to finish all the stones to keep the overall lead. Those stones were sticky af with all the Am men using them before we got our hand on em. and you know ... they were COVERED with tacky. But that's okay. Fun way to end the day and seal the deal 🤝

Woodridge Farms Strongest Stone Lifter and Blue ridge Championship Games hosted by @goin_rogue_podcast @wrfbrewery
.
I had the goal at the beginning of this year to compete in stones and highland games in the same weekend, this just so happened to be simultaneously. Certainly stressful at times with some of my turns happening in the same 2 minutes, literally running across the field. But I kinda like the adrenaline of it! Managed to win stones and secure an invite to America's Strongest Stone Lifter and I came in second in the championship games! Couldn't have asked for a better venue and even better people. Will def consider again, as crazy as 14 events on one day sounds 🤘🏼

Event # 4 at @arizonasstrongestman Pro/Am. Power stairs! This was a fun one, but sheesh 18inches is a lot. I had to break out the work boots to give my 5'6" self a little bit of help.
Strategy going into it was to FINISH IT! And I sure did!

🔥 JUST LOOK AT THE ATHLETES COMING TO GLOBAL STRONGMAN! 🔥

This isn’t just another strongman show.

We’ve brought together an incredible group of athletes from the UK, Europe and beyond — champions, record breakers, international competitors and some of the most exciting names in the sport.

And on Saturday 26th September, they all step into the same arena at Magna.

Five events.
One huge live show.
And a field absolutely stacked with talent. 💪🌍

Videos and photos are great… but strongman is different when you’re actually there.

The noise. The atmosphere. The crowd getting behind the athletes. And seeing these weights moved just metres away from you.

If you’ve been thinking about coming, now is the time to get your seats sorted.

🎟️ GLOBAL STRONGMAN – SUMMIT OF STRENGTH
📅 Saturday 26th September
📍 Magna, Rotherham / Sheffield
⏰ Show starts 1PM

Tickets available now on Eventbrite.
