A project I've been working on for the past couple of months, illustrating the duality of life and human experience - the coexistence of joy and sorrow, freedom and captivity, peace and conflict, and how all of these opposing experiences can occur simultaneously.

Thank you so much to @normalnico0926 behind the camera for being my right hand throughout this project and throughout my life and for helping me bring my ideas to life 🤍

Finally got to revisit this angsty phrase I made over a year ago while teaching for @styxthecompany yesterday. Sometimes it's fun to just throw my body around without a concern for how crazy or messy it looks. It feels good being able to not to take myself so seriously all the time. Yesterday was one of those days.

I am so grateful for this cast and for this space @danceoncentral @talamomosqueradance for trusting in me time and time again to create work that is so meaningful to me. I am so lucky to have been able to work with each and every dancer in this piece, because they all mean so much to me and are such special and beautiful movers and individuals. This is my piece titled "Symbiosis" that I presented over the summer and I had such a blast creating it 🫶🏼

A Fight Within

This is a film I created in Fall of last year as one of my final projects before graduating from NSU. It signifies the internal conflict between different aspects of one's personality, and the feeling of fight or flight as a result of confronting aspects of oneself that are undesirable.
I am extremely grateful to @alonzowill for the leadership, guidance, and insights that led me to creating my first dance film, and to @cheyennekellar for helping me bring this concept to life.

Thank you to all who came out and shared the space with me with such amazing energy, I appreciate you all 🤍 by @abbymasmoves

This is a piece I created that’s centered around the experience of finding human connection during moments of chaos and uncertainty. When the stress and anxiety accompanied by living on this planet melts away in the presence of someone you love. It’s about the people who matter most in the world, the ones who ground you and accept you, broken pieces and all.
