🎬 An important subject. A powerful documentary. An evening of conversations that matter.

Our latest event highlights reel takes you inside an exclusive RTS North West masterclass exploring the making of Down the K Hole, the upcoming BBC documentary presented by Stacey Dooley and produced by Nine Lives Media.

Bringing together the people responsible for telling this story, the evening explored the growing issue of ketamine addiction in the UK, the challenges of documenting such personal experiences and the responsibility that comes with bringing them to a wider audience.

From an insightful panel discussion to an audience eager to learn more, it was an evening that demonstrated the impact television can have when difficult subjects are brought into the spotlight.

🎥 WATCH THE REEL for a look at the evening, the conversations, the speakers and the audience who came together for this important event.

A pleasure for us at ER Event Photography to capture both the photography and video highlights for another fantastic RTS North West production.

About last night… 🎬

A brilliant evening bringing the television industry together for an exclusive masterclass with Stacey Dooley and the team behind her upcoming documentary, Down the K Hole.

Working alongside ABC, we were delighted to bring this event to RTS North West, giving guests the opportunity to hear directly from Stacey, producer Rachael Smith, director Becky Southworth, editor Andy Rushton and Kerrie Lang from Acorn Recovery Projects about the making of the documentary and the stories behind it.

Produced by Nine Lives Media, Down the K Hole explores the realities of ketamine addiction through the experiences of those affected, highlighting the power of documentary filmmaking to bring important and often misunderstood subjects into focus.

A huge thank you to Stacey and the whole team for sharing their insights, Cat Lewis for introducing the evening, John at ABC Buildings for helping make it happen, and Beth Hewitt, Deputy Chair of RTS North West, for her continued support.
Beautiful Productions has been proud to produce events for RTS North West for the past six years, creating opportunities to connect, learn and celebrate the people and stories shaping our industry. Here’s to many more. 💛

📺 Down the K Hole airs on 20 October on @bbc and @bbciplayer.
