5 lessons my mentor taught me (zero AI):

1. Envision exactly what you want for your entire life and know what you need to get it: the exact budgets, the exact timelines, the exact steps; plan the years down to the days.

2. When you're working on an idea, stick through it unquestioningly, inexcusably, uncompromisingly for at least 5 years of hard work until it works or doesn't work; only then can you truly deserve to say you tried.

3. The looser your routine, the looser your results. You don't need more hours; you need to use the ones you have.

4. Being a good manager does not mean you're a good businessman. They are entirely different skill sets. Business is a science which requires studying; it cannot just be picked up by working or trying.

5. There are people out there willing to give you opportunities, money, jobs, time, for the things they care and feel strongly about. You just need to craft the sell and pitch. taken in IUS by @abdullahsedits

Walking in nature with brehs who walk the talk @formaaaaaaaaaaa

Last week I joined Forma's Bristol pop-up village. 9 days of orkshops and tutorials, networking, seeing more of my own city, wellness experiences, walks in nature, and a lot, lot more.

I met builders, designers, founders, artists, engineers, creatives, who travelled from all over the world. Everyone there, without exception, had something they were deep in the trenches working on — not just thinking about, or had on the back-burner — but fully invested and dedicated.

Hearing from people’s stories showed me more of what’s possible and, in a way, raised the benchmark. Loved exchanging ideas and values with people like @patryk_ploe and @yashtsingh_ Singh, and learning from seasoned exiters like @talhaasiif .

Grateful to everyone I met over the event, and a huge shout-out to the Forma team for putting this together. Looking forward to the next popup.

I’ll be sharing what I worked on in the ‘AI & frnds’ workshop soon. taken in Leigh Woods by @abdullahsedits
