I started this job at 25 and finish this job at 27. Thank you @lesmizofficial Tour for 14 months of absolute mayhem, madness, tomfoolery and the craziest damn time this rando Malaysian could ask for. I am just a tiny spec in this mammoth of an entity, but I am humbled to be given the opportunity to show other randos that have my eyes, my face, my skin, my features, that we belong and we have always belonged and we will continue to belong.

Doctors didn't think I'd make it past 22, heres to another year of proving them wrong.

"The person whose name is written in this note book shall have some of their dreams come true"

Abel Law. Abel Law. Abel Law.

Picture yourself at about 8 years old, your cousins shuffling over to the sides so you get a better view as you are all crammed in front of a tiny computer monitor. The room is dark and quiet except for the flickering light of a montage opening scene and the head banging sounds of J-Pop.

Fast forward 22 years later, picture your cast mates shuffling over to the sides so you get a better spot for your curtain call of the same anime. The very same anime that got you into Law, the very same anime that would soon become a record breaking musical showcasing people that look like you.

Death Note the Musical at the Barbican has been one of the hardest, and most delectable jobs I've ever had the privilege of getting my grubby Sarawakian hands on. Being gifted the honour of covering my Asian Icons @tellyleung and @colin_ryan in one sitting was not on my 2026 bingo cards, but what a freaking honour it has been. @frank.wildhorn @ivanmenchell @jasonhowlandmusic @katyrrichardson @giles_deacon @iammorganreilly @tilbo22 @stephen.whitson @beccachadder
@fabianaloise @honey_joseph thank you for making this random Asian Boy's dreams come true

I've got so much to say, but my rice is getting cold. The stereotypes are true, we are so freaking cool. by @abel.law

Oopsie, baby made a whoopsie.

Super excited to be performing at the Barbican with Death Note the Musical! I've grown up watching the anime with my cousins, all crammed around 1 single computer monitor, read the manga and watched all the live action films (yes, even _that_ one), so to get to have a taste of this universe is super freaking cool!!

If you're lucky, you might get to see me as a demon 😈, and if you're super super lucky, maybe even that one Detective Who-Cant-Sit-Like-Regular-People.

The cast is stacked, the songs are banging, and I think you'll be in for a killer of a time.

Meow, Meow gang. Summer at the Barbs is where it's at!!

Swipe to see what it's like to send a tape from the basement parking lift lobby of Marina Bay Sands. Love you B4. by @abel.law
