ART & SEN.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

(Swipe to see the before) I’m incredibly grateful to the school for trusting me with full creative freedom on this mural. Seeing it transform from that into this for the students is something I’m genuinely proud of.

The best part was watching the students engage with it, interact with different parts of the wall, identifying elements they could recognise, smile, and make the space feel even more alive. Moments like these remind me how powerful art can be within SEN environments and why I DARE NOT STOP!

Another mural completed. At the start of this year, I told myself I would try things I've never done before, even when I felt afraid or doubted myself. Painting murals was one of those things.

What I didn't expect was to complete two murals before the middle of the year in @yourcroydon It's always a privilege to create art for SEN schools and play a small part in making these spaces more welcoming and inspiring for the children who use them every day.

It' and I'm happy to finally see it finished.

Thankful for the opportunity, thankful for how much I've learned, and excited to see what comes next.

"the most important factor in appreciating the work of neurodivergent and learning-disabled artists is the art itself. When audiences and galleries engage with the work first, without preconceived notions about the artist's background, it creates a more authentic and respectful appreciation."
