🧠 Today marks 365 days since my migraine started & I've not had a pain free day since. Not on my birthday, not on holiday, not on our anniversary, not on a normal day. It's been more than challenging & has turned everything in my life upside down.

I've always been a chatterbox and can talk your ear off, given half a chance. Along side my permanent migraine, I now have a stutter. This known as an acquired stutter, which happens when an event happens to rewire speech systems. Essentially, I've had a system update, and it had a bug. After the initial shock of hearing my stutter every time I opened my mouth, I'm learning to accept that this is my new reality. It's a bit like looking into a fog & not being able to see out. Not sure what the next year will look like or if I'll get my fluency back, but for now, cliché as it sounds, I'm just taking it one day at a time. by @abidmakes

🇬🇷 Athens blew us all away 🇬🇷 A gorgeous sunny week in Greece with the family was just what we needed. Pastries, pomegranate trees, frozen greek yogurt & so many freddo espressos.

The flowers I'd bring you, for our long overdue catch up. 💐 Lemon geranium, purple basil, sunflowers, cosmos, rosemary, dahlias raspberry leaf and zinnias.

Kinda cool to reuse water mechanics from my @petalon_flowers subscription to transport these into town. Reusing materials and fragrant foliage is my thing & I'm excited to keep exploring. by @abidmakes
