Ummmm y’all… there’s no way these are mine 😭 Iceland truly felt like another world — every corner looked straight out of a dream. Still can’t get over these moments, these views, and this entire experience. Forever in awe that I got to be a part of such an incredible retreat — first as a photographer for round one, then as the assistant and content creator for round two. ✨
So many more posts to come, because this girl is far from done sharing this magic. 🫶🏻

Mary + Jimmy 🫶🏻🤍🔥🔥🔥🔥

I haven’t posted sneak peeks this quickly in forever, BUTTTTT these deserved it. I sent their gallery earlier today and immediately knew they needed a spot on the grid—and honestly, a pinned one.

A car wash engagement session has been on my bucket list for way too long, and this weekend I finally got to bring it to life. It was nothing short of a dream.

We started with a few sprinkles, got a little sunshine, watched it disappear again, and then the rain came back even harder—leaving us with the most BEAUTIFUL double rainbow near the end. We genuinely couldn’t have planned it any better.

M + J fully leaned into the fun, playful energy of this session, and I left knowing we all had the best time. My heart is seriously so full after this one. It pushed me creatively, set a whole new standard, and reminded me why I love bringing ideas like this to life.

Count this as your reminder that your engagement photos should scream YOU and show who you are together. They don’t have to look like everyone else’s. Whatever feels true to your relationship, the right photographer will know how to capture it beautifully.

Vestrahorn, Iceland… one of those places that genuinely feels like it belongs on another planet. 🏔️🖤

Tucked away on Iceland’s southeastern coast near Stokksnes, Vestrahorn is easily one of the most breathtaking locations I’ve ever had the opportunity to photograph. Between the dramatic mountain peaks, endless black sand dunes, and those moody Icelandic skies… HOW is this place even real?!

But y’all… THE WIND. 😂

I don’t think any of us were prepared for just how insane the wind would be that day. Sand was flying EVERYWHERE, and I’m pretty sure we all left with dirt on our faces and sand in places it definitely didn’t belong. HAHAHA.

But this couple?! Absolute CHAMPS. 🥹🤍

Having their photos taken at Vestrahorn was high on their Iceland bucket list, and they embraced every second of the craziness. And honestly, that’s what I love so much about adventurous couples sessions in Iceland. Sometimes the unpredictable weather makes the memories (and photos) that much more incredible.

The dramatic mountains, black sand, wild wind, and two people completely in love… it doesn’t get much better than that.

Would I photograph another Iceland couples session or elopement at Vestrahorn?

IN. A. HEARTBEAT. Even if it means eating another mouthful of Icelandic sand. 😂

Iceland, you have a piece of my heart. 🥹🇮🇸

If you’ve ever dreamed of eloping in Iceland, THIS is your sign to seriously consider it!!

Black sand beaches, massive waterfalls, glaciers, dramatic mountains, and landscapes that genuinely don’t look real. I had the opportunity to photograph all of these incredible locations during my trip in November 2025, and I still can’t believe this is part of my job. 🥹

And the craziest part?? One of these locations, Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, experienced dramatic coastline changes just 3 months after I photographed it. A reminder that these beautiful places are constantly changing, and I’m SO thankful I got to capture it when I did. 🤍

A little throw back down memory lane to last November in ICELAND

I had NO idea how much these photos would mean just a few months later. 🥹🖤

Back in November 2025, I had the incredible opportunity to photograph the iconic Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach in Iceland while attending an elopement photography retreat by @esthertruusmoerman

And y’all… this place was something straight out of a DREAM. The black sand, massive basalt columns, crashing waves, and just the overall beauty of Iceland. I was absolutely speechless.

And to make this experience even sweeter, I FINALLY got to meet Cassidy Lynne in person AND photograph her and her husband at one of the most iconic locations in Iceland!! Like WHAT?! 🥹

Fast forward just THREE months to February 2026, when powerful winter storms and coastal erosion dramatically changed parts of this breathtaking beach.

To think I was standing there with my camera just months before everything changed… WOW.

If there’s one thing this has reminded me, it’s that we never truly know how much a photograph might mean years, months, or even weeks down the road.

I’m beyond thankful God opened this door for me to experience Iceland, meet some incredible people, and capture this beautiful place the way it was in November 2025. 🤍

And man oh man, am I grateful I get to call this my JOB.

Okayyy… possibly the most western shoot I’ll ever get to photograph 🤠🤍

Bailey knew she wanted a western-inspired baby announcement with her sweet family, and I was determined to find a location that truly felt like her. I went back and forth between a few spots, but the second I sent her photos of this one, we knew—it was the one.

Then we showed up for their session and found cows casually hanging out in the background. Tell me that wasn’t the sweetest little God hug. 🥹 We truly could not have planned it any better.

I may or may not have learned that day that cows are scared of people 😂

I went back to this exact spot the very next day for headshots, and the cows were gone… so clearly they showed up just for Bailey + Dago’s big announcement 😂

Getting to document milestones like this—with the people you love, your sweet babies, golden light, and another little one on the way—will never stop being such an honor.

Bailey + Dago, thank you for trusting me with this special piece of your story. 🤍
