A little throw back down memory lane to last November in ICELAND

I had NO idea how much these photos would mean just a few months later. 🥹🖤

Back in November 2025, I had the incredible opportunity to photograph the iconic Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach in Iceland while attending an elopement photography retreat by @esthertruusmoerman

And y’all… this place was something straight out of a DREAM. The black sand, massive basalt columns, crashing waves, and just the overall beauty of Iceland. I was absolutely speechless.

And to make this experience even sweeter, I FINALLY got to meet Cassidy Lynne in person AND photograph her and her husband at one of the most iconic locations in Iceland!! Like WHAT?! 🥹

Fast forward just THREE months to February 2026, when powerful winter storms and coastal erosion dramatically changed parts of this breathtaking beach.

To think I was standing there with my camera just months before everything changed… WOW.

If there’s one thing this has reminded me, it’s that we never truly know how much a photograph might mean years, months, or even weeks down the road.

I’m beyond thankful God opened this door for me to experience Iceland, meet some incredible people, and capture this beautiful place the way it was in November 2025. 🤍

And man oh man, am I grateful I get to call this my JOB.
