You know what they say? Darr Ke Aage Jeet Hai~ and I couldn’t have felt this line more on the 11th of September 2026.

72 kilometres from Khardung village to Leh. Up to the top of the world and back down again. My legs gave up multiple times enroute, but something else kept me going.

I crossed the finish line dancing because I didn’t know how else to tell Ladakh ~thank you for letting me live this dream.

And to the mighty mountains~ I will always be in awe. 🫶🏻

This weekend, I ran the 30 km Lake to Lake Ultra in Chandigarh. The course was gruelling, the weather was brutal but the company made it all worth it.

From bib collection with the running gang to surviving the course, gluttony at its best (the photo says it all!) and exploring new spots across the city, the run was the reason we went but the people, the food, the laughs and everything in between made the weekend.

Chandigarh, you were a good one.

What. A. Marathon. 🇿🇦

@capetownmarathon you were dramatic in the best possible way.
A marathon that will live in memory forever - not just because of the course, the views, the people or the vibes but because we may have just run history in the making. Africa’s first World Marathon Major is almost here and every finisher of the 2026 race earns a provisional star towards the coveted 9-star medal. Goosebumps.

Now where do I even begin?!
Perfect marathon weather. Glorious skies. Electric energy at the start line. We flag off at 8:10am and there’s something different about running in South Africa… you can FEEL it. The music, the culture, the spectators, the dancing, the DJs, the African beats echoing through the streets - this wasn’t just a marathon, this was a full blown celebration with 42.2km of chaos, beauty and suffering 😭😂

And then… THE HILLS.

Around 2-2.5km in, the first incline arrives and I’m like - “excuse me?! already?!” Little did I know this course had personally decided to humble me every few kilometres. Every time I looked ahead, there was another climb waiting like:
“hi babe, thought you were having fun?”

“Rolling course” they said.
Respectfully… WHERE?
This course just kept throwing wave after wave of undulating climbs at us. Long drags, sneaky inclines, legs-burning rollers with Table Mountain casually sitting there looking gorgeous while we all questioned our life choices. Apparently the course has around 200m+ of elevation gain but emotionally it felt like Everest.
And yet… I loved every single bit of it.
The sun came out about 90 minutes into my race and somehow it made everything even more magical. Painful, yes. Humbling, absolutely. But magical.

What makes me happiest though?
This was my comeback marathon after injury. And for the first time in a long time, I ran a marathon pain-free. STRONG. HAPPY. GRATEFUL. No surviving. No fear. Just running. Can’t thank @abilityphysiotherapy enough ! Dr Chawla, always grateful.

As I mentioned earlier, after the Mumbai race, my recovery wasn’t happening and my body had stopped supporting me. I had almost given up. Just 4–5 days before the race, I told dr chandan chawla,Sir that I don’t think I’ll be able to run this time with short recovery period. He looked at me and said with confidence, “You will definitely run. If you weren’t capable, I would have stopped you myself in the first place.” His belief gave me strength, I trusted him, gave it one more try, and it paid off splendidly. Truly grateful for his support and belief in me. 🙏

A fall during a race last year changed my season completely. What followed was surgery and a long, disciplined rehab process. Today’s finish line wasn’t about speed-it was about earning my way back 💪
Thanks @abilityphysiotherapy for rebuilding my mobility and my biggest strength my wife @priyaknaam for her support and my son- my reason to return stronger. My friends and family 🙏🙏
