A few hours from now, I’ll be standing at the start line of the @frankfurtmarathon . 🏁
It began simply as I signed up just to spend time with @jaigupta_10 & @tanyakumar22 after they moved to Nuremberg. Then, got other boys signup and what started as a reunion became a whole clan chasing the same finish line.
But this last week tested me like no training block ever has.
On Monday, a wrong setting on my Normatec compression boots led to nerve compression in my right ankle, within hours it had swollen like a baby elephant’s foot. Just putting weight on it hurt, Running wasn’t even a thought. What followed were frantic calls, SOS messages and Dr Chandan Chawla coming to the rescue. He found the cause, started rehab with meds and slowly brought me back, by Thursday I was walking. With his green signal, I boarded the flight to be ready to run. Did 2 easy runs to check the body, a 4K easy run on Friday night and a 6K easy run on Saturday morning, almost pain-free, the comeback was in sight.
And then Frankfurt decided to throw its own challenge. 🌧️ It has rained all night and is forecast to rain through the entire race, with winds of 20-26 km/h and gusts up to 56 km/h. 💨 Friday night was so stormy we could barely walk and we joked that the race direction should be changed to follow the tailwind.
But we control the controllables. So I’ll be on that start line with a revised pace plan, respect for the weather & mindful of my ankle, bringing home an injury is not worth it.
Behind this race is 18+ weeks of work on the training block battling brutal Delhi heat and humidity with some relentless work travel. Early alarms and stolen hours to make sure the training never slipped (Yes, I’m guilty of not posting about every bit of it😄) however I’ve always believed race day results are an outcome of your training so its time to enjoy and embrace.
Today, I won’t run alone, I have the best people beside me at the start, an incredible cheering squad along the course and the blessings of my ultra-human friends and family carrying me forward. ❤️
Whatever the wind and rain bring, I’ll give it everything I’ve got. Dankeschön! 🙏Wir sehen uns an der Ziellinie.

My other love. Running. ❤️‍🔥
The last few days have been a blur of long hours, relentless work and very tired feet. I came to the Delhi Half Marathon with a tired body and an even more tired mind. Today, I have immense gratitude for my body that continues to show up for me, carry me and do things I sometimes forget to be thankful for. There was no time goal today. Just one promise to myself: no stopping, no walking, just keep running. 21 kilometres, one step at a time.

As my coach Nakul has always told me, “Don’t stop till you finish.” And so I kept going.

Today wasn’t about pace or performance. It was about simple privilege of being able to run. Sabr and Shukr

You know what they say? Darr Ke Aage Jeet Hai~ and I couldn’t have felt this line more on the 11th of September 2026.

72 kilometres from Khardung village to Leh. Up to the top of the world and back down again. My legs gave up multiple times enroute, but something else kept me going.

I crossed the finish line dancing because I didn’t know how else to tell Ladakh ~thank you for letting me live this dream.

And to the mighty mountains~ I will always be in awe. 🫶🏻

6 months of training (1500km+ run, 3000km+ bike and countless hours in the pool) to make it to the start line and …6 days before the race you get viral.

The doubts about if you should even go to the race or not. I didnt want to be another statistics where people let their ego get better of themselves

Post discussion with coach, we travel. Still unsure if we will race or not, but leaving that decision to one day before the race and focus on recovery at the time being.

No one can explain how you feel when you are going to a race venue with so much of uncertainty. You cant be happy and excited with so much anxiety piling on.

2 days before the race, we decide that we will stand at the start line and give it a go. (With substantially low effort and with the aim of finishing and NOT racing). It was hard to predict how the body will respond to such high degree of stress while still recovering from viral.

The orange and yellow alert for the race day weather conditions tested everything from me. I cried when i couldnt push the bike at 15kmph due to headwinds despite my best effort. I even felt homesick in the moments.

I truly realised this time when they say that the race day is race day. You cant prepare of it and it will test the best of you.

I am so glad that I could finish it and I come back from the race a little more wise, humble and grounded. Back in the search of my ‘why’

This weekend, I ran the 30 km Lake to Lake Ultra in Chandigarh. The course was gruelling, the weather was brutal but the company made it all worth it.

From bib collection with the running gang to surviving the course, gluttony at its best (the photo says it all!) and exploring new spots across the city, the run was the reason we went but the people, the food, the laughs and everything in between made the weekend.

Chandigarh, you were a good one.

P.S: what a brilliantly organised event @laketolakeultra @gulia_run Take a bow !
@abilityphysiotherapy Forever grateful for your guidance, belief and those perfectly brutal plans. ❤️
