This is what it looks like to be a Shaper. 💙

These photos tell the story of a community united by a shared commitment to create meaningful change.

They capture the friendships formed, the challenges embraced, and the impact made along the way.

At the @worldeconomicforum @lagosshapers ,we have shared far more than meetings and projects. We have shared late-night brainstorming sessions, community outreaches, moments of celebration, and the fulfillment that comes from knowing our efforts are making a difference.

Together, we have worked on initiatives, but beyond the milestones, the most valuable part of this journey has been our people💙

As we look back on these moments, we are excited about what comes next.

Do you have what it takes to be our next Shaper?🔥

Applications are now open for a new cohort.

If you are passionate about social change and ready to use your skills and experience to create impact, we invite you to apply.

A summary of Day 1 of the JuCE Africa Bootcamp…

Our amazing facilitators @kelechinwaozuzu and @abiolabiya led the kids through a very immersive hands-on session on leadership and problem solving!

To say that the kids were engaged was an understatement, in fact at some point they started debating and critiquing one another’s solutions and projects! Questions like ‘but how does this improve the life of students?’, and ‘there are many edtech businesses, how will your own be special?’ were actually used by the students.

The session challenged the students to be confident, think critically, and work together effectively in teams! We are certain this will leave a lasting mark on the students’ lives.

We are excited to have the incredible and resourceful Abiola Biya as a facilitator at the upcoming JuCE Africa Bootcamp!

Over the course of 3 hours, through team games and puzzles, Abiola will introduce the selected students to the world of leadership and team work.

We believe it is important to have the Nigerian child emboldened to lead and take charge of situations to produce positive outcomes, as well as play effectively as part of a larger team! This will not only be pertinent for nation building today but is important for global relevance.

We are excited for the great energy Abiola will bring to the JuCE bootcamp!
