Who invites people in less than 72 hours and still gets almost 30 people showing up with gifts, love, energy, laughter, and beautiful vibes? 💕 Apparently…me 🥹See beautiful people now! Honestly, this entire experience reminded me that God has surrounded me with genuinely beautiful people, and for that, I’m deeply grateful. We prayed, painted, laughed, played games, gist-ed, ate, loved on each other, and just had the most wholesome time everrrr! 💕💕💕 Thank you to every single person who showed up for me. Thank you for the gifts, the intentionality, the prayers, the effort, the love, and your presence, truly the best gift a girl could ask for. 🫶🏽 Special shoutout to my big sisters @lhardells and @boluomidiji for sponsoring the hangout and making sure baby girl had an amazing time🤍 I love you both deeply. A summary of Day 1 of the JuCE Africa Bootcamp… Our amazing facilitators @kelechinwaozuzu and @abiolabiya led the kids through a very immersive hands-on session on leadership and problem solving! To say that the kids were engaged was an understatement, in fact at some point they started debating and critiquing one another’s solutions and projects! Questions like ‘but how does this improve the life of students?’, and ‘there are many edtech businesses, how will your own be special?’ were actually used by the students. The session challenged the students to be confident, think critically, and work together effectively in teams! We are excited to have the incredible and resourceful Abiola Biya as a facilitator at the upcoming JuCE Africa Bootcamp! Over the course of 3 hours, through team games and puzzles, Abiola will introduce the selected students to the world of leadership and team work. We believe it is important to have the Nigerian child emboldened to lead and take charge of situations to produce positive outcomes, as well as play effectively as part of a larger team!
