Some big news! I’m really honoured to be included in @thewed top 17 MUA’s in the UK (Again! I honestly didn’t think I’d be included this year so to be recognised again is amazing and a real boost) and amongst some other talented MUA’s.

I love reading The Wed - their edits are always very inspiring so it’s so exciting for me to be recognised by them again for my work.

They mention that I understand the power of ‘quiet beauty’ and I think that encapsulates what I do.

Natural editorial bridal beauty on Ella during a one to one session for @e.v.emakeup … I demonstrated this blushy skin focused look on one side and Eve did the other.
We used no foundation for this look, just @elfcosmeticsuk halo glow and @armanibeauty luminous silk concealer on a couple of areas (absolutely underrated)
Then the @violette_fr bisou balm in betise on the cheeks and lips for a matte soft focus finish, topped with @westmanatelier petal (I use this on everyone…. I really tried not to use it here too just to change things up but I couldn’t help it, it is the absolute best)

Beautiful Liv 🤍 who came all the way from Dubai via the US to get married to her love in Edinburgh (where they met)
Make up by me and hair by @laurengilmourhmua for our hair and make up collab @thebridalchairscotland 🤍✨

Liv wanted to feel like a bride but have a less traditional bridal look: glowy bronze/ pink toned make up and undone tousled hair:Lauren used @moroccanoil_uk

For make up I used:
My fave @lisaeldridgemakeup elevated glow as a base (pr/gifted), Angelica liquid eyeshadow and ground coffee eye pencil.
@armanibeauty luminous silk foundation (I was sent this by Armani and I love the new formula- prefer it to the older one) and bronzer
@westmanatelier baby cheeks in petal (basically use this on almost everyone)

Beth: a modern bride with a touch of period drama romance ✨

Hair and make up by me, I created a natural make up look that made Beth feel herself. Crucially, I matched her skin tone perfectly, which was super important. No orange tide lines here! I’m a fellow pale queen (albeit a different undertone) and so I know the pain of never having the right foundation match, I used @diorbeauty face and body on Beth and sheered it out along with @lisaeldridgemakeup velatura lip and cheek balm in cinnamon bun and @rhode toasted teddy. I lined the lips with @vieve Aphrodyte which was Beth’s own and quickly ran to buy my own and I love it - a good tip for any fellow pale gals out there!

Beautiful Beth getting ready @thescotsmanhotel for her wedding @rcpevenue ❤️
I used lots of @lisaeldridgemakeup as Beth is a big fan including Burnt Umber kitten lash mascara which is a lovely warm brown and then the matching eye liner. It suited Beth so much … black would have been too harsh on her fair skin.
We also used the velatura balm on her cheeks and lips in Cinnamon Bun with a bit of Toasted Teddy blush by @rhode ✨
