POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Didn’t get the chance until now to offically announce…
I’m a #Revpit2026 winner! 🎉

So excited to work with Madelyn!! I’ve already had my call with her, and I’m waiting for my edit letter 👀

I’ll be sure to bring you guys along the way for the journey! Right now, it’s a lot of patience and Discord group chats 😂 I’m sure I’ll be waist-deep in edits soon.

Qotd: any plans for this weekend? Writing? Reading? I wanna hear it all!

An Updated Meet The Reader/Writer Post ✨

I’m in the process of doing some rebranding to better match my reading tastes ☕️

That’s just a fancy way of saying I want to do more gothic-styled posts, since 80% of my reads are horror, thrillers, romantasy, speculative, etc. Otherwise, not much will change!

Qotd: how long have you been on booksta/writersgram?

Introduce yourself (or reintroduce yourself) below 🤎

48 Hours in Boston📍

Unfortunately didn’t go to any bookstores, but my wallet is grateful 🤭

Have you been to Boston? What bookstores do you recommend?

Fall Book Recs 🍂

Fall is my favorite time to read darker fiction. Nothing like reading a scary book all cozy up under blankets.

Qotd: have you read any of these? What genre do you love reading in the fall time?

It’s Pick Your Path Day! 🎉

I’m hoping to finish draft 1 of my fourth novel (!!!!) by the end of this year. I’m only a few chapters away from the midpoint, so it feels doable!

I’ve been keeping this project close to my chest. It’s a bit ambitious and I’m not sure how to market it yet 😬 It’s every genre in one book, honestly!

But I can’t wait to share more about it in the upcoming months!

Who else is participating in #pawrico this year?

🦌 Portrait of a Fawn 🦌

I love this trend! For Portrait, the novel is more like a creepy, atmospheric horror rather than a bloody slasher. Think botanical horror and a hint of romance/campiness.

I’d love to hear more about your stories! What are you writing? What books are inspiring you?

I’m so close to 25k in Project Hot Spring! I’m also only a few pages away from hitting 100 pages. It’s been a slow writing month, but I’m glad I got the free time to write this weekend ✍️

Current reads 📚

Summer was a slow reading season for me, so I’m hoping things turn around for fall 🍂

If you’re wondering what I’m doing, there’s a 60% chance I’m crocheting 🧶 What an addicting hobby 😂

I’m really hoping to finish draft one of Hot Spring by the end of October, but it’s not looking too good. Still, progress is progress!

So, have you read any of these? Read anything else by these authors?

Fall reads | new releases | young adult fiction | YA writer | creepy books | botanical horror | eco horror | reading time |

Project Hot Spring Update: I hit 20k! Creeping ever so close to the midpoint. I think this’ll be my twistiest novel yet, and I’m so excited to share more.

🌲🥀🐺🌊♨️

My goal is to finish this draft by the end of the year, which I think is extremely doable for me!

♟️Immortal Game Book Tour ♟️

When I saw that Immortal Game came in the mail, I was beyond excited!

Immortal Game is Allison Saft’s latest YA sapphic fantasy about evil fae, chess grandmasters, and a fun sapphic romance.

I immediately enjoyed how Saft throws you into a familiar world with a touch of magic— the mysterious Otherworld and Irish folklore inspired premise had me hooked 👀

I’m so excited to keep reading and see how it ends!

Have you read any of Allison Saft’s works? This is my second read by her (first was A Far Wilder Magic) ✨

Also, can we talk about how gorgeous this cover is!! And the reflective, glittery green sprayed edges? So pretty!

Thank you to @wednesdaybooks and @allisonsaft for the chance to read Immortal Game!

A tiny recent library haul 📚

I swear, the librarians must be so confused seeing me check out kids graphic novels, adult romantasy books, and niche history books 😂

What books have you got from the library recently?
