2025 has been a complicated year, the kind that slaps you in the face and then slaps you again a few more times. The kind where you feel like you're hanging onto a branch on the edge of a cliff and you can't see a way to get back up. Then you do get back up and a gust of wind nearly takes you off again so you decide to crawl away from the edge of the cliff because you can't see any other way to get back.

It was also a year full of friends and family 🥰 Thank you to all those lovely people, and to the new friends ❤️

Going through difficult times has accentuated that we humans need connections and laughter, I have also loved cold water therapy and reading ❄️

In January we found Otto after nearly 50 days of being lost 😻 taken in Colombia by @abs__palm

Late night swims, hanging out with cats and eating watermelons 🍉

The flag of P41estine, coloured in the Pan-Arab colours of red, green, white and black, had been banned in 15rael, leading to the locally grown and similarly coloured watermelon taking its place in P41lestinian iconography as an alternative for decades.

Summer in the UK, yes sometimes it's hot, it doesn't always rain and there is more to see than just London. I have just answered the three most common questions I get asked by foreigners 😭😅🤣

El verano en Reino Unido, sí a veces hace calor, no siempre llueve y hay más cosas que ver aparte de Londres. Acabo de responder a las tres preguntas más comunes que me hacen los extranjeros 😭😅🤣

Camping trip for my birthday visiting a 460m waterfall and taking a dip in the five degree water 💦🥶
We imagined that the hike wouldn't take long but we had to hike up the mountain for over two hours and got drenched by the rain too. The cold water immersion was difficult at the huge waterfall, however, you gradually get used to it! We didn't even take much food with us for the five hour trip. We just shared a sandwich 🥪 So luckily we found somewhere to get a hot chocolate and something to eat afterwards ☕

Bologna, il cuore rosso dell'Italia. Ho fatto un tour gratuito a piedi, mi sono avventurata in una delle prime università di medicina d'Italia, sono andata in un cinema all'aperto gratuito, ho mangiato pasta e ho trovato un gelato vegano al pistacchio. Successo 10/10 🥹❤️

Mia madre è partita il giorno prima e mi sono sentita molto sola. È bello vedere i posti da soli a volte, ma è quasi sempre molto più divertente con gli altri. Questo è uno dei motivi per cui ho fatto il tour gratuito, per uscire con nuove persone. taken in Bologna, Italy by @abs__palm

After arriving in Milan to heavy thunder storms we decided to wait it out and see if we could explore the city for an evening. Fortunately at around 7pm it stopped raining and at around 8:30pm there was an incredible sunset 🌄

The cathedral construction began in 1386, and the final details were completed in 1965. Walking around Milan for just a few hours was magical 🇮🇹🍕 taken in Milan, Italy by @abs__palm

Lake Garda, Italy
August 2024

We took a bus from the North of France to get to Torino, then we took a train to get to Lake Garda. Traveling by bus or train is part of the fun when you have the countryside to admire. We also used the buses at Lake Garda to navigate our way to different towns each day 🌞💧

Lake Garda is a magical place full of enchanting towns, picturesque swimming spots (we went to many), gelato and beautiful walking routes. Everything is reasonably priced, with pizzas starting from around 7 euros, but my favourite was the focaccia sandwich 🥪🤤 taken in Lake Garda, Italy by @abs__palm
