Mega Musandam trip with @gotroopy and the boys! Basically it was cold, beautiful and cold. Saw some dolphins, swam with fish, camped at 1400m, wore some layers, saw some petroglyphs and Ollie made one of his own, then got the Raptor nice and dusty taken in Musandam Governorate by @abupoppy

Happy New Year, everyone! We spent 3 awesome nights on the beach
1. When we first arrived
2. Ollie found garbage that looked like a top hat and was inspired to make a snowman
3. Four people for four days requires a lot of water and food. 2nd cooler and 40l “snack box” not pictured
4. Recent storms has washed up (and killed) loads of starfish
5. Marshmallows!
6. Glow sticks!

Great to tick off this track before much of it turns into a tarmac road! Even better to camp with “The Lads” (@gotroopy and our respective miniature versions!) even though it was a little warm! Ollie and I did it “cowboy style” in the back of the truck under a mosquito net. Loved it! by @abupoppy

Camping season for us is over so soon? Travel and commitments mean this was probably our last until after summer. We’ve done very well this year and camped most weekends, but it still isn’t enough! As usual there were so many people to camp with that we never managed to, so many locations that we never made it to. Soon it’ll be back to google earth and mentally refining the camp until next time! This was a great one to end on, however! taken in Skegness Beach by @abupoppy

A long drive down south to get to a quiet beach which was pretty idyllic (the kids called it “Mini Maldives”) until the wind randomly picked up during the night not stopping until 36 hours later. We made the most of it, corralled the cars and treated it like a uk beach trip! taken in Abu Dhabi Emirate by @abupoppy
