A carousel of possible cover images. Brilliant trip finding lakes in the desert and streams in mountains. Mid April and the temperature in the desert at night got down to 15°C. Camping season still on 👌

Brilliant to camp in the mountains again! Me and Ollie found a camel skeleton and we ate kebabs. Good times.

I'm saddened to bid farewell to my trusty Blue Beast, written off by insurance due to a minor, easily repairable damage.

However, UAE's Road and Transportation authority's rules don't permit the repair. I'm grateful for my comprehensive off-roading coverage and excellent insurance provider, Sukoon, who compensated me the purchase price minus 10%.

It's hard to part with my Blue Beast, which was still in excellent condition.
You will be deeply missed, dear truck, for the amazing memories, emotions, and community you've brought into my life.

May your next journey be blessed.

To my buddies @abupoppy @hellcatpro.ae , @alahbabi.ahmed, @hell.boyy707 , @torcuae , @uaetrx @zeddyiskandar and many more :. I'll be back!

Taking Yastrebets express lift to the mountain top. Went for a little walk there. Tom got excited about the mountain biking around the area, and potentially manifesting his retirement 😆 Kids had copious amounts of wild raspberries. Overall such a fun activity.

Black rock (Черната скала) hike. An easy one hour hike through the woods, riddled with blackberries. The view is breathtaking and overseeing the mountains around you. I wish we could take this picnic spot with us home.

Great to tick off this track before much of it turns into a tarmac road! Even better to camp with “The Lads” (@gotroopy and our respective miniature versions!) even though it was a little warm! Ollie and I did it “cowboy style” in the back of the truck under a mosquito net. Loved it!

Camping season for us is over so soon? Travel and commitments mean this was probably our last until after summer. We’ve done very well this year and camped most weekends, but it still isn’t enough! As usual there were so many people to camp with that we never managed to, so many locations that we never made it to. Soon it’ll be back to google earth and mentally refining the camp until next time! This was a great one to end on, however!
