Just had to jump on this trend because it’s so true and so funny 😂🤎 But this girl? The only thing intimidating about her is how fast she’ll steal your heart.

Meet SAGE 🌿—a stunning brindle pittie, 2 years old, 74 lbs, spayed, and ready for her family. 🐾

Her previous family lost their housing and were devastated to lose her but say she’s:
✨ House + crate trained
✨ Amazing with children
✨ Friendly with dogs of all sizes
✨ So good with tricks and obedience

She loves toys, pool splashes, long walks, and rolling in the grass. She’s playful and settles nicely once she’s out of her kennel and going out for walks and playtime. 🤎

She’s been waiting since June 18 and is one of the longest term residents at SLO county shelter so her time is limited 🆘 Let’s get this beautiful girl HOME.

📍 SLO County Animal Services
865 Oklahoma Street, San Luis Obispo, CA
📞 (805) 781-4400 — open 12pm each day of the week for adoptions! Come by and meet her and take her on a walk!
🐾 Ask for SAGE • ID A317537

Call to meet her or ask about fostering or a rescue placement. Can’t bring her home? Share this—her person could be one share away. 🫶 by @acat21

ADOPTED!! 🐾 MEET OUR PET OF THE WEEK, MAX! 🐾

Help us share Max’s story so he can finally find the loving home he deserves. ❤️

As one of our long-term residents at Woods, Max is ready for his fresh start!
I’m Max! A 4-year-old American Bulldog mix, and yes... I’m basically a certified good boy. I’ve been here for a while now, and I’ve become a staff and volunteer favorite—they say I’m a big love bug! Even though I love all the attention I get here, I’d really love a family of my own.

I’m house-trained, know how to sit (especially if treats are involved), and I’m an all-around happy guy. Oh, and I look extremely handsome in a bandana. It’s kind of my thing.

If you’re looking for a loyal, treat-loving best friend who will keep you smiling, I’m your boy!

Come meet Max @woodshumanesociety from 12–4 PM and see why everyone falls in love with him! 🐶💕
