Some bittersweet news 🤍 Tomorrow will be my last day at News 2, and I’ll be saying goodbye to my amazing friends in the Lowcountry.

From reporting traffic at 4:30 in the morning, to anchoring News 2 at Midday, to telling the stories of Berkeley and Dorchester County, it has truly been an honor to be a part of the News 2 Team.

There aren’t enough words to describe Charleston, South Carolina. It’s one of those places that I know will stick with me forever. I have made some of the greatest memories of my life here and met people who will have a lasting impact on me in the best way. Driving over the Ravenel Bridge one last time will definitely not be dry-eyed. Thank you to everyone who makes saying goodbye so hard.

The next chapter of my life brings me back to my hometown of Nashville, TN, and I couldn’t be more excited to be close to my family again and all of my friends who I have missed so much!!

My sweet grandfather went to be with the Lord this past Friday, February 13th. I feel sad but so lucky to have grown up just 7 minutes down the road from my grandparents, a privilege not everyone has. You and CC helped raise me alongside my parents and I will be forever grateful for everything you have done for me. Thank you for your endless wisdom. Thank you for always being there, whether it was a sporting event, dance recital, or when Mom and Dad would make me mad so I would run away to you and CC’s house. Thank you for never EVER missing a newscast of mine, no matter how far away I am or what time it is. Thank you and CC for being an example of God’s true love in a beautiful marriage of 68 years.
