I get this question more often than not, so if you ever have a question on how to refer to me here ya go.

Best reference is the person I share my birthday with, JFK. John F. Kennedy’s nickname was Jack, but he was never referred to as Jack Kennedy. That’s how Ace is for me. by @ace.thearchitect

See how we put residential towers along the edges of a park so more people have access to green space without needing to afford to purchase and maintain a lawn?

Denver activity I recommend for anyone:

1. Go to @littlemanicecream (Sweet Cooie’s)

2. Enjoy the Wes Andersonian interior

3. Grab a cone to go (I got sweet dreamsicle and pumpkin chip)

4. Walk your cone through the neighborhood to Cheesman Park

I do this every time I visit Denver and I always enjoy the sweet treat.

Overdue post about a newer building I came across along Stone Way that I really like. For all the zoning restrictions that exist (still) in Seattle, this building keeps things very simple in terms of its color palette; using a warm stone-like facade to create a clear contrast in finish from the carved interior of the white courtyard.

The architect for this is @perkinseastman and though I can’t speak for the interior I can say they did a really great job on the exterior. taken in Stone Way N by @ace.thearchitect

If there’s one place I tell people they have to eat at when visiting in Seattle, it’s @musangseattle. I went recently again with my good judy @justjorrhere and it just reminded me of how this restaurant doesn’t just have excellent food (b/c the food is truly excellent), it truly makes you feel at home. Situated near the Beacon Hill light rail station, it’s a quick walk from there to a house where you’ll get some of the best Filipino food around that spans both classics and contemporary spins. Also be sure to get desert, you won’t go wrong with any of theme (because we tried them all 🤭).

And a very special thank you to Phil, Jen, and the rest of the Musang crew for the care they take in welcoming in patrons that are both local and from afar. I feel lucky to live in a city that has restaurants like Musang and I know they exist because we go to them.

Keeping it simple for this post about @supernovacocktails in Vancouver short by saying: if there’s one cocktail you absolutely must go to in the city, it’s this one.

I had the chance of catching their pop up in August with friends in the industry and we cannot wait for the full bar to open shortly. Be back again soon!

Hello and welcome to my long overdue post about my favorite new bar that’s opened in the past three months, @spicebarandbites! BIPOC owned and QTBIPOC+ ran, what I love about the place is that the food is great, the drinks are fantastic, and the space welcomes all people in an extremely approachable way.

I’ve been dealing with illness so unfortunately haven’t been able to make it back in a minute, but you’ll be able to find me there again soon enough. Flashback to when I stayed for a few days after Vancouver Pride and finally had the chance to see ‘HAZE,’ the truly spectacular show put on by @names.hazel. Felt the need to share because (aside from having an absolutely spectacular cast and the fantastic MC’ing done by @amy.grindhouse) Ms. Hazel just started her Canada-wide tour! 10/10 would recommend catching her show when it stops in your town; you will not regret it.
