Hey! It’s me Teylor, founder of Achieve in Color (formerly Dreamers at FAMU). So much has changed since we started our organization and I know many of you have been wondering, where’s the volunteering sessions?

Well, we haven’t been volunteering because I’ve been working in the schools directly :) teaching art classes, leading music and theatre showcases, and putting on amazing youth-led shows here in north Florida!

I am so excited to start bringing Achieve in Color back along for the ride. We’re expanding into more opportunities, including stage productions for your kiddies to be a part of right here in Florida!

If you’re interested in helping Achieve in Color in any way, please let me know. Teaching and being a nonprofit girly is hard, but as a community, we can do it.

And if you’re interested in sponsoring an Achieve in Color session or need us at your local school, also let us know ;) until next time! by @achieveincolor

Did you know we teach piano classes? 🎹 Yes :) We’re grateful to have had the chance to teach early piano, music theory, and music production skills to middle and high school students around the state!

We’re relocating to Atlanta, Georgia soon. Would your school be interested in an after-school music program or elective?

Recap from auditions of OLIVER the musical out in Quincy, Florida. It was so nice working with these amazing students.

Though we didn’t get the chance to formally direct the show, we appreciate being apart of the casting process and helping to coach these students to not only greatness, but kindness and character! by @achieveincolor

We’re proud of our students at the Robert F Munroe Day School for putting on a wonderful performance of SHREK JR! These students put their best foot forward and the talent really showed.

We’re blown away by the efforts of these students, their directorial and production team, as well as the awesome parents and administrators who helped make this happen.

Congrats RFM! Another school served 👏🎬 by @achieveincolor

This past Friday, I hosted a Princess and the Frog Tea Party. 👑💖🐸 I just wanted us to get together, wear pretty outfits, and experience PEACE and COMMUNITY. It was perfect.

Thank you @honestlivingteahouse for allowing us to use your beautiful venue. Thank you @artcusmarcus for these beautiful, beautiful photos! And of course, my deepest gratitude for @breatheincolor_ community for your continuous support and most importantly, the love I experience.

Thank you @the.oasiscenter for visiting our studio space, in partnership with our sister organization @breatheincolor_! We hosted a therapeutic painting activity with the “Girls Can Do Anything” camp participants, including a meditation session and paint activity.

Towards the end of our session, the field trip turned into a dance party! We love seeing the joys of young girls and women connecting, collaborating, and experiencing creative wellness.

Until next time! 🦋 by @achieveincolor
