The beach is home, and we hope that one day we’ll officially get to call it our home. There’s just something about being at the beach that gives our family so much freedom and joy.

✨ this is 36 ✨

i spend my birthday weekend in DC with cherished family under the cherry blossom trees 🌸 😊

So thank for another year of life focusing on the things that matter!
A dear friend asked me her annual birthday questions and I am excited to leave some stuff before and looking forward to so much more in my 36 year of life!

Balloons have always been my tradition now it looks like we are adding flowers 🌷 Last year tulips, this year cherry blossom 🌸 y’all know I am a sucker for traditions.

3 Months of Ellie Girl! 😃🏝️

🏝️ She experienced her first beach trip!
🏝️ And lived her best life, just like the rest of us.
🏝️ She had her first Hogan matching swimsuit photoshoot.
🏝️ She spent lots of time with family.
🏝️ She’s still putting up with Evie’s shenanigans. 😂
🏝️ But they had their first of many tea parties. 🫖💕
🏝️ She’s still napping with Dad.
🏝️ She started daycare and is absolutely thriving!
🏝️ She’s doing all the babbling, smiling, and mimicking.

📸 My new mini series — Evie in the City 🎀

For most of you who don’t know, my major in college was photojournalism. I am a storyteller photographer at heart. I love images that tell you a story. So, as a challenge to myself, I want to create little mini series. Here’s to the first of many!

The goals is to only use my iPhone, create, how fun, and do minimal editing.

We ran home this past weekend to celebrate my mom and just decompress (I’ll share a video with you about this later… the tea is pipin’!! BUT all she asked for was quality time, easy enough. Mom, if I could I would give you it all! Thanks for all your support, blessing, and love. So glad you are my MOM.

Our Ellie girl is 2 months old! 🇺🇸❤️

Sweet Ellie is already 12 lbs 😂 probably more now!

Here’s the 4-1-1:

🇺🇸 She loves to eat like the rest of us, and definitely has an “I’m done” face when she’s full.

🇺🇸 She’s already so curious about food and watches us eat with the sweetest little expressions.

🇺🇸 She has the most adorable, audible laugh, and it melts our hearts every time.

🇺🇸 She loves hanging out in her IKEA chair.

🇺🇸 She’s such a trooper with her big sister and our ever-changing schedules.

🇺🇸 We’re still working on nighttime sleep, but she’s absolutely crushing daytime naps.

🇺🇸 Those chunky little hands and thighs are giving us life, we’re obsessed!

So… last summer I never got around to posting our beach trip recap, so here it is! 🌊☀️ I was even prego on this trip and didn’t even know 🤭

This was our first week-long vacation since our honeymoon, and it was absolutely worth it. It’s a reminder that we don’t want to live to work, we want to work so we can truly live.

Now we’re only 3 short weeks away from our 2026 family beach trip ❤️ one day we will live at the beach!!

Family time is everything. Cherish the time. 🤍
