Sunday was one for the books down at @cocos_gym for the 2024 @log.deadlift.stone Spring Break!
It was a privilege to be there and capture some pretty cool moments and witness a few records and PR’s fall!
Strongman/Strongwoman is an amazing spectator sport - if you’ve never been to an event, keep any eye out for the next comp local to you and get amongst it!

Over the moon with this shot! Saturday night at @evergreenatthefoliagefarm was my first opportunity to try my hand at some portraits and a few of them came out really, really nicely in that gorgeous golden hour light.
The m50 and kit lens kinda struggled for the rest of the evening as the light got lower, but that’s some valuable experience for me.

I think I kinda like portrait photography!

Just a reminder that I do more than photograph strongman events! My passion is shooting ‘Cool People Doing Cool Shit.’ I come from the hardcore/punk rock/heavy metal world and love doing both personal/business branding photography and personal shoots like portraits/couples/families. I don’t do typical Gold Coasty white clothes and awkward poses on the beach with blown out backgrounds, I like to shoot people with a bit of grit, character and unique aesthetics.

Was honoured to be asked by @the_strength_junction to shoot Qld’s Strongest Man and Woman last weekend. It was a fantastic two days of Strongman action, full of excitement and sportsmanship, the hallmarks of Strongman.

Truck Pull is always a spectacle at @cocos_gym here on the Gold Coast and is a great way for absolute beginners with zero strongman experience to jump in and have a go with elite pros and seasoned veterans. *not my photos* One of the things that can set me apart from other photographers in the strongman game is the fact that I’ve competed multiple times, still train at a strongman gym and am a fan of the sport in general. I understand that normal, everyday people love it when they have some rad photos from a competition to show off to family and friends, nothing beats getting photos after a comp and seeing a special moment captured for you.
