🚨🚨 THE CONVERSATION | NEW ORLEANS 🗣️ What Does the Political System Owe Black Men—and What Do We Owe Ourselves? It’s time to have the conversation. What does political accountability look like for Black men? Are our voices being heard? Are our communities receiving the investment and opportunities we deserve? And just as importantly, what responsibility do we have to ourselves, our families, and our communities? This is bigger than politics. It’s about power, representation, accountability, and our collective future. We’re creating space for honest dialogue, meaningful questions, and conversations that can lead to real change. 📍 Details coming soon. Stay connected and follow @aconversationseries for updates. Everybody won’t see the vision—and everybody doesn’t have to. One thing I’m learning while building The Conversation is that you can spend too much time focusing on who didn’t show up, who didn’t support, or who didn’t believe. But the vision was never dependent on everybody. I’m grateful for the brothers who DO show up. The people who share the posts. The ones who make the calls. The sponsors who invest. The leaders who lend their voices. And especially the men who walk through the doors ready to have a real conversation. Those are the people you build with. Every vision isn’t meant to be supported by everybody. The right people will show up, lean in, and help carry it forward. Build with those who believe. We’re just getting started. Follow @aconversationseries and stay connected. Tuesday night was another reminder of why The Conversation matters. Brothers from across our community came together at Chicken’s Kitchen—not just to talk, but to listen, challenge one another, share perspectives, and think seriously about where we go from here. I’m grateful for every Black man who showed up, every voice that contributed, and every brother who came ready to engage. These conversations don’t end when we leave the room. The real work is what happens next. So to my brothers: stay engaged. Stay informed. Stay connected. Keep showing up. Our communities need our voices, our leadership, and our participation. And we’re just getting started. 👀 More information about our OCTOBER session is coming soon! Trust me—you’re going to want to be in the room for the next Conversation. Follow @aconversationseries and stay connected for announcements, upcoming topics, guests, and registration information. Thank you again to everyone who helped make Tuesday night another meaningful chapter of The Conversation. Real Brothers. Real Issues. To all of our speakers — thank you for giving us your time, wisdom, honesty, and insight. The Conversation doesn’t work without people willing to have the REAL conversations. A very special shoutout to Chef Marlon “Chicken” Williams @chickenskitchen2 for opening the doors of Chicken’s Kitchen and allowing us to gather in your space. And listen… THE FOOD WAS OFF THE CHAIN! 😂🔥 You showed us incredible hospitality, and we appreciate you! And another special THANK YOU to U.S. Senate Candidate Jamie Davis @jamieforlouisiana for showing up and being willing to sit in the room, listen, engage, and be part of The Conversation.
