Turns out our favourite kind of camping involves significantly more time upside down 🙃

Extending a HUGE thank you to @acrocampout for inviting @mike_mckoy and @danihilliard out to teach some acro flows and pops. What a ridiculously fun event, with a bunch of very talented humans 🫶🏼 #howdidweevengethere taken in Conestoga River by @acrocampout

Teacher spotlight with @flutter_by44 !

Based in Toronto, Zuzana is an acro-yoga teacher, as well as the co-founder of the Toronto acro duo, Acrocodiles. With a diverse background that spans from guiding mindful movement on the mat to instructing in the water as a swimming coach, she brings a unique understanding of balance, fluid movement, and body awareness to everything she teaches. We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Zuzana back to the acro campout this year! Last summer, she blew us all away with a brilliant dance lift sequence that we are all still talking about (and still trying to perfect).

Teacher spotlight wirh @moodster01 !

Moody is an active member of the Vancouver acroyoga community who recently embarked on a journey with no set destination. Having practiced for many years, he has dabbled in everything from boxing and team sports to disc golf, board games, and tabletop role-playing games. However, none of these hobbies offered the same “magic” of human connection that he discovered in acroyoga. Embracing life’s diverse experiences with a love for geeking out and building community, Moody spends his time training and teaching across the festival circuit. His teaching path spans local favorites like the Vancouver, Calgary, and Viva Acro Festivals, as well as international gatherings like the Dutch Acro Festival and AcroLove. While he is widely known for his technical Icarian abilities, Moody loves combining creativity with technicality, finding joy in exploring other disciplines like trio tosses, dance lifts, and flows. Wherever he goes, his goal remains simple: to stay curious, share what he has learned, and enjoy the process along the way.

Moody is scheduled to teach standing trios with Leanne and Andrew. by @acrocampout

Jo Bot is another returning teacher from last years Acro Campout.

Jo Bot has been teaching Acro Yoga since 2016 and is still amazed at this wonderful rabbit hole of possibilities that encompasses this practice. Who knew there were so many ways to balance on other humans? Her teaching style is about breaking down the complex into bite sized chunks that make the poses and transitions achievable. Be prepared to laugh and have fun in her class and learn techniques that will translate into improving your flows.
Jo is scheduled to teach inversions on Saturday afternoon and topsy turvy on Sunday afternoon. by @acrocampout

@polymath_acrobat

Andrew and Leanne are returning acro camp out teachers from 2025.

With Leanne and Andrew both having a background in gymnastics, falling in love with acro was to be expected. But rather than the flips and skills, it was the community and connection of acro that really pulled them in. With over 15 years of combined experience, they have taught both together and separately throughout Canada, America, and Mexico. While they love all the different aspects of acro, they specialize in training icarian, pops, and H2H.
They are scheduled to teach funky 2 highs on Sunday morning as well as swinging trios with Moody on Sunday afternoon. by @acrocampout
