This is another show I will never forget. We may have only had 7 songs due to inclement weather and wildfire smoke but @officialsarahmclachlan made it the most memorable 7 songs. The packed amphitheater is a testament to the impact she has left on so many over the past 30 plus years- can’t wait to share my article because so many on here might not understand or may be too young to know what she has done for females in the music industry through the 1990s- and it was an absolute honor to be able to capture her that evening- one day she will make it back to Michigan and I’ll be there crying and healing 🤍 such a beautiful show and iconic singer songwriter- that vocal range and talent 🙌🏻🙌🏻📷 for @acronymzine #sarahmclachlan #betterbrokentour #femalesingersongwriters #concertphotography #livemusic by @acronymzine

Ticking another band off my never-seen list 🤘 @setitoff 🤘Out of all my sets at @upheavalfestival, I find my best ones tend to come from “upstairs,” aka the Lookout Stage. Everyone was talking about how this set was a must-see and I get why now. High energy and charisma were off the charts! More coverage to come from @acronymzine 💻 by @acronymzine

About a year ago, a drunk guy put his arm around me at Emo Nite and told me that if I wanted to hear a sick band, I needed to check out @zero — and I finally did. I’m happy to report he wasn’t wrong 🤘.ZERO 9:36 had to battle extreme heat for their performance which messed with their laptop to give them a false start. Now, normally I wouldn’t bring that up but the way Matthew Cullen handled it was great. The band worked through the issues while he told stories, and then Matthew realized when addressing a fan in the audience that they were drawing a portrait of them. He invited the person up to draw him up close, and even when the music started to play again, he let them stay up for a few. The energy was solid, and was easily my favorite act of Friday’s @upheavalfestival lineup. Hope to see @zero along the road one day and get another chance at 📸, hopefully in a much more temperature controlled location. 😂 by @acronymzine

DETROIT, MICHIGAN: Smoke from the Canadian wildfires has been visible in the air since Wednesday evening. There are reports of ash on cars the closer you are to the river, and many people have expressed Thursday morning that they had no idea what was going on initially and were terrified. We send love to those who had to flee their homes from the First Nations who were forced to evacuate by boat, plane, and more, and to our northern neighbors in Ontario, who absolutely have it worse than we do. Please wear masks, stay in doors if you have the luxury, and be mindful that when you’re complaining, you realize other people are dealing with far worse than what we’re experiencing. by @acronymzine
