Help bring “The Sound of Summer” to life. 🙏🏾

I’m raising funds for my short film, The Sound of Summer, a story that is deeply important to me. The film follows Emma, a woman who returns to her family’s cabin in Big Bear for the first time since the end of an emotionally abusive relationship. What was once a place tied to pain, self-doubt, and walking on eggshells slowly becomes a space for reflection, healing, and peace. Through quiet moments in nature, unexpected memories, and her own growing self-compassion, Emma begins reclaiming her sense of self. This film explores recovery, self-love, and what it means to believe you are enough after trauma.

I’m asking for help to bring this story to life. The support from this fundraiser will go toward the remaining pension and health, insurance, equipment, and editing costs needed to complete the film. Your support matters because stories like Emma’s can help people feel seen, understood, and less alone in their own healing. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference in helping me finish this project and share this meaningful story with the world. Thank you for believing in The Sound of Summer and in the power of healing through film.
