🎬🎞After a whole lot of acting, waiting for material and editing, I finally finished cutting my English Showreel!

Thank you to everyone supporting me on my journey, you have no idea how much I appreciate it.
Many thanks also to all the members of the Swiss film industry who didnt quit during Covid; this material would not have been possible without you. 💪💥

On my end at least, I can really see a progression from my 2019 showreel. Let me know what you see!

🎬🎞️Good things come in threes: Introducing Head of Action Department and Cast as Anti-migrant Mercenary and Antagonist Right Hand « Valakor » Sebastian Fisher @offiziell_sebastian_fisher

Sebastian and Elijah first met where all warriors meet: on the court. After vibing at the @thedoldergrand tennis court, they remained in touch.
When Sebastian saw Elijah @actorelijahknight pitching BLOOD MILK to producers @festivaldecannes 2026, he reached out with his talents.

Sebastian played a big part in blowing up Roberto and Elijah’s vision of the project, bringing a « sky is the limit » mindset to the team. The film, which will live from its moments of silence and deep emotional connection between Skôda and Stjepan, will now be complemented by adrenalin fueled action scenes in between - courtesy of Sebastian🌶️

With his current action short film @predationmovie Sebastian is currently not only blasting the festival circuit, he is also able to bring valuable pyrotechnics and helicopter wrangling knowledge to BLOOD MILK.

Last but not least, Sebastian will also gift his acting chops to the project as VALAKOR, the main antagonist’s right hand and anti-migrant paramilitary commando mercenary.

BLOOD MILK is thrilled to have it’s core team of 3 stacked:

🎬🎞️Introducing Lead Actor & Producer Elijah Knight @actorelijahknight in the role of Stjepan, a paramilitary anti-migrant commando soldier who - when finding Skôda- becomes conflicted between remaining a Life TAKER or transforming into a Life SAVOR. Which will he choose?

Elijah started acting 12 years ago in his🇨🇭Special Forces Grenadier Training, performing military sketch shows for his comrades - around the time Roberto got the script idea when reading the Swiss Novel Skôda.

As destiny wants it, Elijah is ironically being released from the Swiss Army Reserve this year 2026, which is timed perfectly for him to transition from terrain- to screen soldier.

Coincidence? We don’t think so! Once a warrior, always a warrior - whether on the battlefield or on screen. 🪖
Speaking of, Elijah brings 12 years of Hollywood &🇨🇭 Filmmaking Battlefield experience to the film, having starred in numerous TV shows including the 1st ever 🇮🇹 @paramountplusit Show Miss Fallaci as US WWII Soldier Neil Carter.
Roberto and E also just happened to meet when Elijah was founding his own production house Knight TV GmbH - again, the stars were aligned✨

When the two met, they instantly connected around the passion for shared humanity amidst war.
They then purchased the option to develop Blood Milk based on Skôda and as Roberto was pounding the pavement 24/7 writing the script, Elijah took some weight off his shoulder by embracing the role of Swiss Producer, Executive and Development Producer, for which his Business Masters from @unistgallen comes in handy.

They have been a great team ever since and are now joined by @offiziell_sebastian_fisher who just became Head of the Action Department and Producer and whom we will introduce in the next post.💪

🎬🎞️Introducing Writer-Director of @bloodmilkfeaturefilm Roberto Cancellara. It all started 10 years ago, when Roberto, award-winning🇨🇭🇮🇹 director read the late Olivier Sillig’s Novella « Skôda » and was driven by a profound sense of purpose to develop « Skôda » into a feature film.

He then pitched the idea to a producer friend from the 🇨🇭production company Hugo Films who accepted to produce the project and then immediately passed away from cancer.

« The presence of simultaneous death and the will for life to grow amidst the rubble » being synonymous with Skôda’s profound meaning, Roberto decided to follow Stjepan’s (lead character) example and save this baby!

10 years later and after many script re-writes, Roberto found production partner and lead actor @actorelijahknight Knight TV GmbH, with whom he purchased the option to film Blood Milk based on Skôda.
The script is finished now and he is in the production development and financing phase with Elijah.

At the recent Investor Showcase held parallel to the @zurichfilmfestival , actor/producer Sebastian Fisher @offiziell_sebastian_fisher joined the team as the head of the Action Department and future cast member.

We are officially moving into the next phase of Blood Milk.

Bilgerbücher im Kino in der Welt.
Nachdem Hernán Ronsinos Roman GLAXO – deutsch in der Übersetzung von Luis Ruby: 'Letzter Zug nach Buenos Aires' – jetzt an den wichtigen Filmfestivals gezeigt wird und 2027 in die Kinos kommt, wird auch Olivier Silligs Roman SKODA verfilmt werden. Vom Schweizer Regisseur Roberto Cancellara. Unter dem Titel BLOODMILK.
Am Montagabend wurde im Kino RiffRaff, im Rahmen des ZFF – das Filmprojekt vorgestellt. Vom Schauspieler Elijah Knight und von Roberto Cancellara. Der Saal war voll. Das Publikum schwer beeindruckt.
Gänsehaut hatte ich während der Dauer des ganzen Trailers, ich, der ich diesen Roman über alles liebe:
Ein Antikriegsroman für unsere Zeit, ein Plädoyer für Menschlichkeit und Würde in einer Welt, die ausser Rand und Band geraten ist.
SKODA, auf Deutsch in der Übersetzung von Claudia Steinitz seit 2012 im bilgerverlag, wünschte ich mir schon lange als Schullektüre in allen Gymnasien.
Wenn gelingt, was Roberto Cancellara und Elijah Knight vorhaben, wird SKODA – unter anderem mit Carlos Leal in einer Hauptrolle – auf der Leinwand zu einem richtig grossen Ereignis, vergleichbar mit 'The Road' oder 'Arctic'.
Olivier Sillig (1951-2026), der die Reise ans Ende des Regenbogens angetreten hat, wäre glücklich über das, was wir alle im Kino RiffRaff zu sehen bekommen haben.
Klar, Geld ist immer eine Frage. Das Budget beträgt 3,5 Millionen Franken. Nicht wirklich viel, je nach Optik, z.B. wenn man sich vorstellt, BLOODMILK würde am ersten Wochenende das Fünffache einspielen, oder wenn man es als gutes Omen nimmt, dass der Film in der Landschaft gedreht wird, in der Ridley Scott »Das Ende der Sterne« gedreht hat.
