امروز بهترین دوستم، تکیه‌گاهم و مادرم برای همیشه از کنارم رفت.

هنوز باورش برام سخته. همیشه به داشتن مادری مثل تو افتخار می‌کردم. تو با عشقت، با حمایتت و با حضورت باعث شدی آدم شجاع‌تر و بهتری باشم و یادم دادی چطور زندگی کنم.

It felt impossible not to get nostalgic in WeHo. Seeing my high school friend Javid and his wonderful wife after more than a decade was emotional enough on its own.

What started as a simple friendship slowly became something deeper and more meaningful. Now, you’re not just my soulmate, but also my brother.

The past three months have been some of the hardest days of my life. I’m trying to move forward and keep myself together, but navigating all these mixed emotions hasn’t been easy.

What actually helped me wasn’t alcohol or anything like that, it was the complete opposite. Showing up to Barry’s, even on the days I felt at my lowest, especially when I couldn’t even connect with my loved ones in Iran.

This small achievement means more than it looks. It’s a reminder to keep going.

P.S. Huge thank you to @houseofhunterdc for the support and for taking me to Barry’s for the first time.
